लिङ्गदर्शनाच्च ॥१-१-२३॥

liṅgadarśanācca ॥1-1-23॥

[लिङ्ग (liṅga) - mark; दर्शनात् (darśanāt) - from the seeing; च (ca) - and;]

And also from the perception of the mark.
