Mīmāmsa Sūtra 01.01.27

वेदांश्चैके सन्निकर्षं पुरुषाख्याः ॥१-१-२७॥

vedāṃścaike sannikarṣaṃ puruṣākhyāḥ ॥1-1-27॥

[वेदान् (vedān) - the Vedas; च (ca) - and; एके (eke) - some; सन्निकर्षम् (sannikarṣam) - contact; पुरुषाख्याः (puruṣākhyāḥ) - called Puruṣa;]

(The Vedas and some (others) (regard) the contact (as) called Puruṣa.)

The Vedas and some others consider the contact as being called 'Puruṣa'.
