[अविवेक्यादेः सिद्धिः त्रैगुण्यात् तत् विपर्यय अभावात्। कारण गुण आत्मकत्वात् कार्यस्य अव्यक्तम् अपि सिद्धम्॥
avivēkyādēḥ = in the unintelligent body; siddhiḥ = achievement; traiguṇyāt = from the three qualities; tat = there; viparyaya = reversed / opposed; abhāvāt = deficiency; kāraṇa = the cause; guṇa = qualities; ātmakatvāt = soul being; kāryasya = activities associated with; avyaktam = un-expressed; api = hence; siddham = gets established;]
In the unintelligent body, achievements arise from the three qualities because of their deficiency and opposing nature. Thus, qualities are the cause of activities. Hence, the un-manifest nature of the soul is established.
