Vaisesika Sūtra 1.2.13

तथा गुणेषु भावाद् गुणत्वमुक्तम् ॥१३॥

tathā guṇēṣu bhāvād guṇatvamuktam ॥13॥

[तथा गुणेषु भावाद् गुणत्वम् मुक्तम्॥
tathā = In this manner; guṇēṣu = in qualities; bhāvād = among the existent; guṇatvam = the quality-ness; muktam = is declared;॥]

This way, among the existent, the quality-ness is declared in the qualities.
