Vaisesika Sūtra 2.2.19

यथादृष्टमयथादृष्टत्वाच्च ॥१९॥

yathādr̥ṣṭamayathādr̥ṣṭatvācca ॥19॥

[यथा (yathā): As or like; दृष्ट (dṛṣṭa): Seen or experienced; अयथा (ayathā): Not seen or not experienced; दृष्टत्वात् (dṛṣṭatvāt): Due to the ability to experience; च (ca): And/even;]

The way the experienced, similarly, not experienced as well, because of the ability to experience.
