Vaisesika Sūtra 5.1.04

तथात्मसंयोगो हस्तकर्मणि ॥४॥

tathātmasaṁyogo hastakarmaṇi ॥4॥

[तथा (tathā) - likewise; आत्म-संयोगः (ātma-saṁyogaḥ) - conjunction of the ātma; हस्त-कर्मणि (hasta-karmaṇi) - in the action of the hand;]

Likewise, the conjunction of the ātma causes movement of the hand (but the cuase is different).
