Vaisesika Sūtra 5.2.05

नोडयोवायुसंयोगादारोहणम् ॥५॥

nōḍayōvāyusaṁyōgād ārōhaṇam ॥5॥

[नोडयोः-वायु-संयोगात् (noḍayoḥ-vāyu-saṁyogāt) - from conjunction of the joints with air; आरोहणम् (ārohaṇam) - ascent;]

Ascent occurs from the conjunction of joints with air.
