Vaisesika Sūtra 7.2.09

अन्यतरकर्मजः उभयकर्मजः संयोगजश्च संयोगः ॥९॥

anyatara-karma-jaḥ ubhaya-karma-jaḥ saṁyoga-jaś ca saṁyogaḥ ॥9॥

[अन्यतर-कर्मजः (anyatara-karmajaḥ) - arising from the action of one; उभय-कर्मजः (ubhaya-karmajaḥ) - arising from the action of both; संयोगजः (saṁyogajaḥ) - arising from conjunction; च (ca) - and; संयोगः (saṁyogaḥ) - conjunction;]

Conjunction arises either from one’s action, both’s action, or from the conjunction itself.

ॐ असतो मा सद्गमय। तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय। मृत्योर्माऽमृतं गमय। ॐ शान्ति: शान्ति: शान्ति: ॥ - बृहदारण्यकोपनिषद् 1.3.28
