Vaisesika Sūtra 9.2.05

अस्येदमिति बुद्ध्यपेक्षितत्वात् ॥५॥

asya idam iti buddhi-apekṣitatvāt ॥5॥

[अस्य (asya) - of this; इदम् (idam) - this; इति (iti) - thus; बुद्ध्यपेक्षितत्वात् (buddhy-apekṣitatvāt) - due to dependence on cognition;]

This is due to dependence on the cognition - "this is of this".
