Yōga Sūtra 3.54

जातिलक्षणदेशैरन्यतानवच्छेदात्तुल्ययोस्ततः प्रतिपत्तिः।

jātilakṣaṇadēśairanyatānavacchēdāttulyayōstataḥ pratipattiḥ।

[जाति लक्षण देशैः अन्यत अनवच्छेदात् तुल्ययोः ततः प्रतिपत्तिः।
jāti = class; lakṣaṇa = characteristics; dēśaiḥ = by place; anyata = others; anavacchēdāt = objects undifferentiated; tulyayōḥ = able to evaluate; tataḥ = from such; pratipattiḥ = an understanding;]

From such an understanding, one will be able to evaluate even objects undifferentiated by class, characteristics, place, and others.
