पतिं विश्वस्य आत्मा ईश्वरं शाश्वतं शिवमच्युतम्। नारायणं महाज्ञेयं विश्वात्मानं परायणम्॥

He is the lord of the universe; He is the everlasting supreme owner; He is the auspicious and infallible essence. This Nārāyana is most worthy of being known, is the essence of the universe, and is the ultimate refuge.
