PrefaceRig 1.164.01asya vāmasya palitasya hōtustasya bhrātā madhyamō astyaśnaḥ। tr̥tīyō bhrātā ghr̥tapr̥ṣṭhō asyātrāpaśyaṁ viśpatiṁ saptaputram॥
May the gray-haired middle brother of this left one be the offerer (priest) who is eating. I have seen the third brother, standing on the back of ghee, here, the Lord of Wealth with seven sons.
Rig 1.164.02sapta yuñjanti rathamēkacakramēkō aśvō vahati saptanāmā। trinābhi cakramajaramanarvaṁ yatrēmā viśvā bhuvanādhi tasthuḥ॥
Rig 1.164.03imaṁ rathamadhi yē sapta tasthuḥ saptacakraṁ sapta vahantyaśvāḥ। sapta svasārō abhi saṁ navantē yatra gavāṁ nihitā sapta nāma॥
