Vaisesika Sūtra 2.1.10

न च दृष्टानां स्पर्श इत्यदृष्टलिङ्गो वायुः ॥१०॥

and, as touch is not visible, it is invisible (adr̥ṣṭa) distinguishing mark of the Air.
