Vaisesika Sūtra 2.1.16

सामान्यतो दृष्टाच्चाविशेषः ॥१६॥

sāmānyato dr̥ṣṭāccāviśeṣaḥ ॥16॥

[सामान्य तः दृष्टात् च अविशेषः॥
sāmānya = generality; taḥ = from that; dr̥ṣṭāt = perceived; ca = even; aviśeṣaḥ = without distinction;]

It's (Air's) perception property is a generality, as it is without distinction.

ॐ असतो मा सद्गमय। तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय। मृत्योर्माऽमृतं गमय। ॐ शान्ति: शान्ति: शान्ति: ॥ - बृहदारण्यकोपनिषद् 1.3.28
