Vaisesika Sūtra 7.1.02

पृथिव्यादिरूपरसगन्धस्पर्शा द्रव्यानित्यत्वादनित्याश्च ॥२॥

Form, taste, smell, and touch in earth and others are impermanent due to the impermanence of the substance.
