Vaisesika Sūtras

Vaisesika Sūtra 7.2.01

रूपरसगन्धस्पर्शव्यतिरेकादर्थान्तरमेकत्वम् ॥१॥

rūparasagandhasparśavyatirekādarthāntaramekatvam ॥1॥

[रूप (rūpa) - form; रस (rasa) - taste; गन्ध (gandha) - smell; स्पर्श (sparśa) - touch; व्यतिरेकात् (vyatirekāt) - from distinction; अर्थान्तरम् (arthāntaram) - another object; एकत्वम् (ekatvam) - oneness;]

Oneness (is inferred) as another object from the distinction of form, taste, smell, and touch.
