Yōga Sūtra 1.14
स तु दीर्घकालनैरन्तर्यसत्कारासेवितो दृढभूमिः।
sa tu dīrghakālanairantaryasatkārāsēvitō dr̥ḍhabhūmiḥ।
[स तु दीर्घ काले निरन्तर्य सत्कारा सेवितो दृढ भूमिः।
sa = it; tu = has been; dīrgha = over a long period of time; kālē = period; nirantarya = uninterruptedly; satkārā = with devotion / humility; sēvitō = served; dr̥ḍha = to get firm; bhūmiḥ = grounding;]
Practice becomes firmly grounded when it has been cultivated uninterruptedly, with devotion and humility, over a long period of time.
Continuous practice for prolonged duration, without interruption is stressed.
