Yōga Sūtra 2.10

ते प्रतिप्रसवहेयाः सूक्ष्माः।

tē pratiprasavahēyāḥ sūkṣmāḥ।

[ते प्रतिप्रसव हेयाः सूक्ष्माः।
tē = these; pratiprasava = by cessation of their production; hēyāḥ = must be destroyed; sūkṣmāḥ = in its subtle form;]

These (five obstacles) must be destroyed in its subtle form by cessation of their production.

As indicated earlier, the causes of obstacles must be eliminated, so that they are destroyed in their subtle form itself, even before they manifest.
