Yōga Sūtra 2.30

अहिंसासत्यास्तेयब्रह्मचर्यापरिग्रहा यमाः।

ahiṁsāsatyāstēyabrahmacaryāparigrahā yamāḥ।

[अहिंसा सत्य अस्तेय ब्रह्मचर्य अपरिग्रहा यमाः।
ahiṁsā = non-violence; satya = truthfulness or benevolence; astēya = not-stealing; brahmacarya = celibacy; aparigrahā = not possessing; yamāḥ = are the vows of self-restraint;]

Nonviolence (ahimsa), being benevolent (satya), non-stealing (asteya), continence (brahmacharya), and not possessing (aparigrahaha) are the Vows of self-restraint (yama).
