Yōga Sūtra 3.26

प्रवृत्त्यालोकन्यासात्सूक्ष्मव्यवहितविप्रकृष्टज्ञानम्।

pravr̥ttyālōkanyāsātsūkṣmavyavahitaviprakr̥ṣṭajñānam।

[प्रवृत्त्य अलोक न्यासात् सूक्ष्म व्यवहित विप्रकृष्ट ज्ञानम्।
pravr̥ttya = inherent arisings; alōka = though process; nyāsāt = and its projections; sūkṣma = subtle; vyavahita = concealed; viprakr̥ṣṭa = remote intents; jñānam = knowledge;]

By (samyama on) the inherent arisings and its projections one gains understanding of subtle concealed remote intents.
