Yōga Sūtra 3.40

उदानजयाज्जलपङ्ककण्टकादिष्वसङ्ग उत्क्रान्तिश्च।

Also, by mastery over the life force that moves up (udāna) one can travel over water, mud, and thorns, without coming in contact with them.
