Yōga Sūtra 3.40
उदानजयाज्जलपङ्ककण्टकादिष्वसङ्ग उत्क्रान्तिश्च।
udānajayājjalapaṅkakaṇṭakādiṣvasaṅga utkrāntiśca।
[उदान जयात् जल पङ्क कण्टक आदिषु असङ्ग उत्क्रान्तिः च।
udāna = the life force that goes up; jayāt = mastery; jala = water; paṅka = mud; kaṇṭaka = thorns; ādiṣu = such others; asaṅga = without contact; utkrāntiḥ = travel over; ca = and / also;]
Also, by mastery over the life force that moves up (udāna) one can travel over water, mud, and thorns, without coming in contact with them.
