Yōga Sūtra 4.11

हेतुफलाश्रयालम्बनैः सङ्गृहीतत्वादेषामभावे तदभावः।

The cause takes its shelter in anticipated results, supported by its intense attraction; by eliminating them (the need for fruits), these (effects) get eliminated.
