Yōga Sūtra 4.11

हेतुफलाश्रयालम्बनैः सङ्गृहीतत्वादेषामभावे तदभावः।

hētuphalāśrayālambanaiḥ saṅgr̥hītatvādēṣāmabhāvē tadabhāvaḥ।

[हेतु फल आश्रय अलम्बनैः सङ्गृहीतत्वात् एषाम् अभावे तत् अभावः।
hētu = cause; phala = anticipated fruits / results; āśraya = shelter; alambanaiḥ = supported by; saṅgr̥hītatvāt = its intense attraction; ēṣām = them; abhāvē = eliminating; tat = that (cause); abhāvaḥ = gets eliminated;]

The cause takes its shelter in anticipated results, supported by its intense attraction; by eliminating them (the need for fruits), these (effects) get eliminated.
