Vaisesika Sūtra 3.1.18

यस्माद् विषाणी तस्माद्गौरित्यनैकान्तिकस्योदाहरणम् ॥१८॥

yasmād viṣāṇī tasmād gaur iti anaikāntikasya udāharaṇam ॥18॥

[यस्मात् (yasmāt) - because of which; विषाणी (viṣāṇī) - having horns; तस्मात् (tasmāt) - therefore; गौः (gauḥ) - (it) is a cow; इति (iti) - thus; अनैकान्तिकस्य (anaikāntikasya) - of a fallacious (non-exclusive) reason; उदाहरणम् (udāharaṇam) - example.]

“Because it has horns, therefore it is a cow” — this is an example of a fallacious (non-exclusive) reason.
