Vaisesika Sūtra 6.2.08

अयतस्य शुचिभोजनादभ्युदयो न विद्यते नियमाभावात् ॥८॥

ayatasya śucibhojanādabhyudayo na vidyate niyamābhāvāt ॥8॥

[अयतस्य (ayatasya) - of the undisciplined; शुचि (śuci) - pure; भोजनात् (bhojanāt) - from food; अभ्युदयः (abhyudayaḥ) - prosperity; न (na) - not; विद्यते (vidyate) - exists / comes to light; नियमाभावात् (niyamābhāvāt) - due to absence of discipline;]

For one who is undisciplined, even pure food does not lead to prosperity, because discipline is lacking.
