Vaisesika Sūtra 6.2.09

विद्यते वाऽर्थान्तरत्वात् यमस्य ॥९॥

vidyate vā'rthāntaratvāt yamasya ॥9॥

[विद्यते (vidyate) - exists / comes to light; वा (vā) - or; अर्थान्तरत्वात् (arthāntaratvāt) - because of being a different meaning; यमस्य (yamasya) - of yama (the rule);]

(Such scenarios) come to light due to altered meaning of the rule.
