Yōga Sūtra 1.41
From progressively weakened activities of mind, a state of consciousness is born, like a bead seamlessly colored, the grasper, the grasped object, and power of grasping - all these situated there in an equilibrium state.
As practice of meditation progresses, consciousness become progressively freer from activities. It results in a state of mind where the grasper (the mind), the power of grasping (capacity of the mind to grasp a topic), and the grasped object (topic) all becomes one like a bead without any distinction.
