Yōga Sūtra 4.09

जातिदेशकालव्यवहितानामप्यानन्तर्यं स्मृतिसंस्कारयोरेकरूपत्वात्।

jātidēśakālavyavahitānāmapyānantaryaṁ smr̥tisaṁskārayōrēkarūpatvāt।

[जाति देश काल व्यवहितानाम् अपी अनन्तर्यं स्मृति संस्कारयोः एक रूपत्वात्।
jāti = birth; dēśa = space; kāla = time; vyavahitānām = separated by; apī = though; anantaryaṁ = are uninterrupted; smr̥ti = the memory; saṁskārayōḥ = past imprints remain; ēka = same; rūpatvāt = form;]

Though separated by birth, space, and time, the memory and past imprints are uninterrupted and remain in the same form.
