Yōga Sūtra 4.10

तासामनादित्वं चाशिषो नित्यत्वात्।

tāsāmanāditvaṁ cāśiṣō nityatvāt।

[तासाम् अनादित्वं च अशिषो नित्यत्वात्।
tāsām = these are; anāditvaṁ = without beginning; ca = and; aśiṣō = desire to live; nityatvāt = is eternal;]

These (memory, ego and imprints) along with desire to live, are without beginning and are always present.
