Yōga Sūtra 4.09

jātidēśakālavyavahitānāmapyānantaryaṁ smr̥tisaṁskārayōrēkarūpatvāt।

Though separated by birth, space, and time, the memory and past imprints are uninterrupted and remain in the same form.
