परमं यो महत्तेजः परमं यो महत्तपः। परमं यो महद्ब्रह्म परमं यः परायणम् ॥१३-१३५-९॥
paramaṃ yo mahattejaḥ paramaṃ yo mahattapaḥ। paramaṃ yo mahadbrahma paramaṃ yaḥ parāyaṇam ॥13-135-9॥

पवित्राणां पवित्रं यो मङ्गलानां च मङ्गलम्। दैवतं देवतानां च भूतानां योऽव्ययः पिता ॥१३-१३५-१०॥
pavitriṇāṃ pavitraṃ yo maṅgalānāṃ ca maṅgalam। daivataṃ devatānāṃ ca bhūtānāṃ yo'vyayaḥ pitā ॥13-135-10॥

यतः सर्वाणि भूतानि भवन्त्यादियुगागमे। यस्मिंश्च प्रलयं यान्ति पुनरेव युगक्षये ॥१३-१३५-११॥
yataḥ sarvāṇi bhūtāni bhavantyādi-yugāgame । yasmiṁśca pralayaṁ yānti punareva yuga-kṣaye ॥13-135-11॥

यानि नामानि गौणानि विख्यातानि महात्मनः। ऋषिभिः परिगीतानि तानि वक्ष्यामि भूतये ॥१३-१३५-१३॥
yāni nāmāni gauṇāni vikhyātāni mahātmanaḥ। ṛṣibhiḥ parigītāni tāni vakṣyāmi bhūtaye ॥13-135-13॥

viśvaṃ viṣṇur vaṣaṭkāro bhūtabhavyabhavatprabhuḥ। bhūtakṛd bhūtabhṛd bhāvo bhūtātmā bhūtabhāvanaḥ॥13-135-14॥

दुर्गाण्यतितरत्याशु पुरुषः पुरुषोत्तमम्। स्तुवन्नामसहस्रेण नित्यं भक्तिसमन्वितः ॥१३-१३५-१२९॥
durgāṇy atitaraty āśu puruṣaḥ puruṣottamam. stuvan nāmasahasreṇa nityaṃ bhaktisamanvitaḥ ॥13-135-129॥

(A person crosses over difficulties quickly, praising the Supreme Purusha with the thousand names, always endowed with devotion.)
A person who always, with devotion, praises the Supreme Purusha with the thousand (holy) names crosses over all difficulties swiftly. (13-135-129)
वासुदेवाश्रयो मर्त्यो वासुदेवपरायणः। सर्वपापविशुद्धात्मा याति ब्रह्म सनातनम् ॥१३-१३५-१३०॥
vāsudevāśrayo martyo vāsudevaparāyaṇaḥ। sarvapāpaviśuddhātmā yāti brahma sanātanam॥13-135-130॥
[वासुदेवाश्रयः (vāsudevāśrayaḥ) - having refuge in Vāsudeva; मर्त्यः (martyaḥ) - mortal being; वासुदेवपरायणः (vāsudevaparāyaṇaḥ) - with Vāsudeva as highest goal; सर्वपापविशुद्धात्मा (sarvapāpaviśuddhātmā) - whose self is purified from all sins; याति (yāti) - goes; ब्रह्म (brahma) - to Brahman; सनातनम् (sanātanam) - eternal;]
(Having refuge in Vāsudeva, (the) mortal being, with Vāsudeva as highest goal, whose self is purified from all sins, goes to Brahman, eternal.)
A mortal who takes refuge in Vāsudeva and makes Him his highest goal, whose self is purified from all sins, attains the eternal Brahman. (13-135-130)
न वासुदेवभक्तानामशुभं विद्यते क्वचित्। जन्ममृत्युजराव्याधिभयं वाप्युपजायते ॥१३-१३५-१३१॥
na vāsudeva-bhaktānāmaśubhaṃ vidyate kvacit। janma-mṛtyu-jarā-vyādhi-bhayaṃ vāpyupajāyate॥13-135-131॥
[न (na) - not; वासुदेवभक्तानाम् (vāsudeva-bhaktānām) - of the devotees of Vāsudeva; अशुभम् (aśubham) - inauspiciousness; विद्यते (vidyate) - exists; क्वचित् (kvacit) - anywhere; जन्म-मृत्यु-जरा-व्याधि-भयम् (janma-mṛtyu-jarā-vyādhi-bhayam) - fear of birth, death, old age, disease; वा (vā) - or; अपि (api) - even; उपजायते (upajāyate) - arises;]
(Not of Vāsudeva's devotees inauspiciousness exists anywhere. Fear of birth, death, old age, disease, or even arises.)
For the devotees of Vāsudeva, no inauspiciousness exists anywhere, nor does the fear of birth, death, old age, or disease ever arise. (13-135-131)
इमं स्तवमधीयानः श्रद्धाभक्तिसमन्वितः। युज्येतात्मसुखक्षान्तिश्रीधृतिस्मृतिकीर्तिभिः ॥१३-१३५-१३२॥
imaṁ stavam adhīyānaḥ śraddhā-bhakti-samanvitaḥ। yujyeta ātma-sukha-kṣānti-śrī-dhṛti-smṛti-kīrtibhiḥ ॥13-135-132॥

(He who recites this hymn, endowed with faith and devotion, is endowed with self, happiness, forbearance, prosperity, steadfastness, memory, and fame.)
One who recites this hymn with faith and devotion becomes endowed with happiness, forbearance, prosperity, steadfastness, memory, and fame. (13-135-132)
न क्रोधो न च मात्सर्यं न लोभो नाशुभा मतिः। भवन्ति कृतपुण्यानां भक्तानां पुरुषोत्तमे ॥१३-१३५-१३३॥
na krodho na ca mātsaryaṃ na lobho nāśubhā matiḥ। bhavanti kṛtapuṇyānāṃ bhaktānāṃ puruṣottame ॥13-135-133॥

(Not anger, not and envy, not greed, not unwholesome thought are in regard to the Supreme Person—of those devotees who have performed meritorious deeds.)
Among devotees of the Supreme Person who have accumulated merit, there is no anger, no envy, no greed, nor unwholesome thought. (13-135-133)
द्यौः सचन्द्रार्कनक्षत्रा खं दिशो भूर्महोदधिः। वासुदेवस्य वीर्येण विधृतानि महात्मनः ॥१३-१३५-१३४॥
dyauḥ sacandrārkanakṣatrā khaṃ diśo bhūrmahodadhiḥ। vāsudevasya vīryeṇa vidhṛtāni mahātmanaḥ॥ 13-135-134॥
[द्यौः (dyauḥ) - sky; सचन्द्रार्कनक्षत्रा (sacandrārkanakṣatrā) - with the moon, sun, and stars; खम् (kham) - space; दिशः (diśaḥ) - directions; भूः (bhūḥ) - earth; महोदधिः (mahodadhiḥ) - great ocean; वासुदेवस्य (vāsudevasya) - of Vāsudeva; वीर्येण (vīryeṇa) - by the power; विधृतानि (vidhṛtāni) - are supported; महात्मनः (mahātmanaḥ) - of the great soul;]
(Sky with the moon, sun, and stars, space, directions, earth, great ocean—by the power of Vāsudeva, of the great soul, are supported.)
The sky with the moon, sun, and stars, space, the directions, earth, and the great ocean are all upheld by the power of Vāsudeva, the great soul. (13-135-134)
ससुरासुरगन्धर्वं सयक्षोरगराक्षसम्। जगद्वशे वर्ततेदं कृष्णस्य सचराचरम् ॥१३-१३५-१३५॥
sasurāsuragandharvaṃ sayakṣoragarākṣasam। jagad-vaśe vartate idaṃ kṛṣṇasya sacarācaram ॥13-135-135॥
[ससुरासुरगन्धर्वं (sasurāsuragandharvam) - with gods, asuras (demons), and gandharvas; सयक्षोरगराक्षसम् (sayakṣoragarākṣasam) - with yakṣas, uragas (serpents), and rākṣasas (demons); जगत् (jagat) - the world; वशे (vaśe) - under control; वर्तते (vartate) - moves; exists; इदम् (idam) - this; कृष्णस्य (kṛṣṇasya) - of Kṛṣṇa; सचराचरम् (sacarācaram) - with moving and unmoving (beings);]
(With gods, asuras, and gandharvas, with yakṣas, uragas, and rākṣasas, this world with moving and unmoving (beings) exists under Kṛṣṇa's control.)
This entire universe—containing gods, asuras, gandharvas, yakṣas, uragas, and rākṣasas, with all moving and unmoving beings—exists under the control of Kṛṣṇa. (13-135-135)
इन्द्रियाणि मनो बुद्धिः सत्त्वं तेजो बलं धृतिः। वासुदेवात्मकान्याहुः क्षेत्रं क्षेत्रज्ञ एव च ॥१३-१३५-१३६॥
indriyāṇi mano buddhiḥ sattvaṁ tejo balaṁ dhṛtiḥ। vāsudevātmākāny āhuḥ kṣetraṁ kṣetrajña eva ca ॥13-135-136॥

(Senses; mind; intellect; beingness; splendor; strength; steadfastness; having Vāsudeva as their essence; they call; the field; the knower of the field; indeed; and.)
They call the senses, mind, intellect, beingness, splendor, strength, and steadfastness as having Vāsudeva as their essence, and indeed both the field and the knower of the field. (13-135-136)
सर्वागमानामाचारः प्रथमं परिकल्प्यते। आचारप्रभवो धर्मो धर्मस्य प्रभुरच्युतः ॥१३-१३५-१३७॥
sarvāgamānām ācāraḥ prathamaṃ parikalpyate। ācāraprabhavo dharmo dharmasya prabhur acyutaḥ॥13-135-137॥
[सर्वागमानाम् (sarvāgamānām) - of all Scriptures; आचारः (ācāraḥ) - conduct; प्रथमम् (prathamaṃ) - first; परिकल्प्यते (parikalpyate) - is considered; आचारप्रभवः (ācāraprabhavaḥ) - originating from conduct; धर्मः (dharmaḥ) - duty; धर्मस्य (dharmasya) - of dharma; प्रभुः (prabhuḥ) - master; अच्युतः (acyutaḥ) - Acyuta (Viṣṇu);]
(Of all Scriptures, conduct is first considered. Duty originates from conduct; of duty, Acyuta is the master.)
Conduct is regarded as the foremost of all Scriptures. Duty arises from conduct; and Acyuta is the lord of duty. (13-135-137)
ऋषयः पितरो देवा महाभूतानि धातवः। जङ्गमाजङ्गमं चेदं जगन्नारायणोद्भवम् ॥१३-१३५-१३८॥
ṛṣayaḥ pitaro devā mahābhūtāni dhātavaḥ। jaṅgamājaṅgamaṃ cedaṃ jagannārāyaṇodbhavam ॥13-135-138॥

Sages, ancestors, gods, the great elements, the primary substances, moving and non-moving beings, and this world—all have originated from Nārāyaṇa. (13-135-138)
योगो ज्ञानं तथा साङ्ख्यं विद्याः शिल्पानि कर्म च। वेदाः शास्त्राणि विज्ञानमेतत्सर्वं जनार्दनात् ॥१३-१३५-१३९॥
yogo jñānaṃ tathā sāṅkhyaṃ vidyāḥ śilpāni karma ca। vedāḥ śāstrāṇi vijñānam etat sarvaṃ janārdanāt॥13-135-139॥

एको विष्णुर्महद्भूतं पृथग्भूतान्यनेकशः। त्रीँल्लोकान्व्याप्य भूतात्मा भुङ्क्ते विश्वभुगव्ययः ॥१३-१३५-१४०॥
eko viṣṇur-mahadbhūtaṃ pṛthag-bhūtānya-nekasaḥ। trīṃllokān-vyāpya bhūtātmā bhuṅkte viśvabhug-avyayaḥ॥13-135-140॥

Let that man who desires to attain supreme good and happiness recite this hymn of the Blessed Lord Viṣṇu, which was proclaimed by Vyāsa. (13-135-141)
विश्वेश्वरमजं देवं जगतः प्रभवाप्ययम्। भजन्ति ये पुष्कराक्षं न ते यान्ति पराभवम् ॥१३-१३५-१४२॥
viśveśvaram ajaṃ devaṃ jagataḥ prabhavāpyayam। bhajanti ye puṣkarākṣaṃ na te yānti parābhavam॥13-135-142॥
[विश्वेश्वरम् (viśveśvaram) - Lord of the universe; अजम् (ajaṃ) - unborn; देवम् (devaṃ) - god; जगतः (jagataḥ) - of the world; प्रभवाप्ययम् (prabhavāpyayam) - origin and dissolution; भजन्ति (bhajanti) - worship; ये (ye) - who; पुष्कराक्षम् (puṣkarākṣam) - lotus-eyed; न (na) - not; ते (te) - they; यान्ति (yānti) - go; पराभवम् (parābhavam) - defeat;]
(The Lord of the universe, the unborn god, the origin and dissolution of the world, those who worship the lotus-eyed (god), they do not go to defeat.)
Those who worship Puṣkarākṣa, the Lord of the universe, the unborn god who is the origin and dissolution of the world, they never meet with defeat. (13-135-142)
