क्षत्रधर्मरतः पार्थ पितॄन्देवांश्च तर्पय। श्रेयसा योक्ष्यसे चैव व्येतु ते मानसो ज्वरः ॥१३-१५२-७॥
kṣatradharmarataḥ pārtha pitṝn devāṃś ca tarpaya| śreyasā yokṣyase caiva vyetu te mānaso jvaraḥ ॥13-152-7॥

(Engaged in the duty of a kṣatriya, O Pārtha, satisfy the ancestors and gods; with merit you will obtain and indeed let your mental affliction be dispelled.)
O Arjuna, by engaging in the duty of a kṣatriya, satisfy both your ancestors and the gods. You will thereby gain merit, and let your mental anguish be dispelled. (13-152-7)
रञ्जयस्व प्रजाः सर्वाः प्रकृतीः परिसान्त्वय। सुहृदः फलसत्कारैरभ्यर्चय यथार्हतः ॥१३-१५२-८॥
rañjayasva prajāḥ sarvāḥ prakṛtīḥ parisāntvaya। suhṛdaḥ phalasatkārairabhyarcaya yathārhataḥ ॥13-152-8॥

anu tvāṁ tāta jīvantu mitrāṇi suhṛdas tathā। caityasthāne sthitaṁ vṛkṣaṁ phalavantam iva dvijāḥ ॥13-152-9॥

(After you, dear one, may your friends and also companions live, like the twice-born (Brahmins) (live) near a tree standing in the sanctified place, full of fruit.)

आगन्तव्यं च भवता समये मम पार्थिव। विनिवृत्ते दिनकरे प्रवृत्ते चोत्तरायणे ॥१३-१५२-१०॥
āgantavyaṃ ca bhavatā samaye mama pārthiva। vinivṛtte dinakare pravṛtte cottarāyaṇe ॥13-152-10॥
[आगन्तव्यं (āgantavyaṃ) - ought to be come; (should come); च (ca) - and; भवता (bhavatā) - by you; समये (samaye) - at the time; मम (mama) - to me; पार्थिव (pārthiva) - O king; विनिवृत्ते (vinivṛtte) - when set; दिनकरे (dinakare) - the sun; प्रवृत्ते (pravṛtte) - when entered; च (ca) - and; उत्तरायणे (uttarāyaṇe) - in the northern course (of the sun);]

तथेत्युक्त्वा तु कौन्तेयः सोऽभिवाद्य पितामहम्। प्रययौ सपरीवारो नगरं नागसाह्वयम् ॥१३-१५२-११॥
tathety uktvā tu kaunteyaḥ so'bhivādya pitāmaham। prayayau saparivāro nagaraṃ nāgasāhvayam ॥13-152-11॥
