Vaisesika Sūtra 3.2.21

शास्त्रसामर्थ्याच्च ॥२१॥

śāstra-sāmarthyāt ca ॥21॥

[शास्त्र (śāstra) - scripture; सामर्थ्यात् (sāmarthyāt) - due to power; च (ca) - and;]

And because of the authority of scriptures.

॥इति द्वितीय आह्निकः इति तृतीयोऽध्यायः समाप्तम्॥

॥iti dvitīya āhnikah iti tṛtīyaḥ adhyāyaḥ samāptam॥

[इति (iti) - thus; द्वितीय (dvitīya) - second; आह्निकः (āhnikah) - section; इति (iti) - thus; तृतीयः (tṛtīyaḥ) - third; अध्यायः (adhyāyaḥ) - chapter; समाप्तम् (samāptam) - concluded;]

Thus ends the second section and the third chapter.
