Yōga Sūtra 3.48

ग्रहणस्वरूपास्मितान्वयार्थवत्त्वसंयमादिन्द्रियजयः।

By the samyama on the purpose of coming together of - power of cognition, one's true nature, and ego, one gains victory over senses.
