Mahabharata - Sabha Parva (महाभारत - सभापर्वम्)

Pancharatra: Ajuna conquered regions till lake Manasa and returned.
Vaiśampāyana said.
O Bhārata, the hero crossed the White Mountain and reached the land of the Kimpuruṣas, which was protected by the son of the tree. (2-25-1)
By a mighty encounter with the destroyer of kṣatriyas, the best of the Pāṇḍavas conquered and placed it in his hand. (2-25-2)
After defeating him, Indra, the son of Pāka, calmly advanced with his army to the land called Hataka, which was guarded by the Guhyakas. (2-25-3)
But after pacifying them, the son of Kuru beheld the excellent Mānasa lake and all the Ṛṣikulyā rivers. (2-25-4)
Having reached Lake Mānasa, the lord Yudhiṣṭhira, near the Hāṭaka region, then conquered the land protected by the Gandharvas. (2-25-5)
There, he then obtained partridges, kalmāṣa birds, and excellent frog-eyed horses entirely by hand from the city of the Gandharvas. (2-25-6)
Having reached the northern Harivarṣa, the Pāṇḍava, son of the subduer of Pāka (Indra), wished to conquer that land. (2-25-7)
Then the mighty, energetic, and strong doorkeepers, having approached him with joy, spoke these words. (2-25-8)
O Pārtha, you cannot conquer this city in any way. Please turn back, O blessed one. This is enough, O Acyuta. (2-25-9)
Whoever enters this city certainly ceases to be a man. We are pleased with you, O hero; your victory is sufficient. (2-25-10)
Arjuna, nothing at all is seen here to be conquered. These are the northern Kurus; indeed, no battle is taking place here. (2-25-11)
O son of Kunti, even though you have entered, you will not see anything here. Indeed, it is not possible to behold this here with a human body. (2-25-12)
Now, O tiger among men, if you wish to do anything else here, tell us; we will act according to your word, O Bhārata. (2-25-13)
Then Arjuna, known as the subduer of Pāka (Indra), said to them, "O king, I wish to secure the kingship for the wise Dharmarāja." (2-25-14)
I will not enter your land if compelled by men. Whatever actions of ours are to be done, let them be given to Yudhishthira. (2-25-15)
Then they gave him divine garments, divine ornaments, and divine deerskins with their own hands. (2-25-16)
Thus, that tiger among men conquered the northern direction, having fought many battles with kṣatriyas and bandits. (2-25-17)
He conquered those kings, placed them under tribute, and took treasures and various gems from all. (2-25-18)
There were horses that were spotted like partridges, some resembling parrot feathers, others like peacocks, and all of them were as swift as the wind. (2-25-19)
O king, the hero, surrounded by a mighty fourfold army, once again came to Śakraprastha, the foremost of cities. (2-25-20)
