सर्व एते महोत्साहा ये त्वया परिकीर्तिताः। एकतस्त्वेव ते सर्वे समेता भीम एकतः ॥५-५०-१॥
sarva ete mahotsāhā ye tvayā parikīrtitāḥ। ekatastveva te sarve sametā bhīma ekataḥ ॥5-50-1॥

(All these greatly enthusiastic ones who are praised by you are on one side, but indeed they all are assembled with Bhima on the other side.)
All these warriors, praised by you for their great enthusiasm, are on one side, while Bhima stands alone on the other.
भीमसेनाद्धि मे भूयो भयं सञ्जायते महत्। क्रुद्धादमर्षणात्तात व्याघ्रादिव महारुरोः ॥५-५०-२॥
bhīmasenāddhi me bhūyo bhayaṃ sañjāyate mahat। kruddhādamarṣaṇāttāta vyāghrādiva mahāruroḥ ॥5-50-2॥

यथा रुरूणां यूथेषु सिंहो जातबलश्चरेत्। मामकेषु तथा भीमो बलेषु विचरिष्यति ॥५-५०-९॥
yathā rurūṇāṃ yūtheṣu siṃho jātabalaścaret। māmakeṣu tathā bhīmo baleṣu vicariṣyati ॥5-50-9॥

संशये तु महत्यस्मिन्किं नु मे क्षममुत्तमम्। विनाशं ह्येव पश्यामि कुरूणामनुचिन्तयन् ॥५-५०-५६॥

(As in summer, the kindled fire, urged by the wind, burns the forest; in that way indeed, the Pāṇḍava with mace in hand, together with Arjuna, is the killer of my people.)
Just as a kindled fire in summer, driven by the wind, consumes the forest, so too does the Pāṇḍava with his mace, alongside Arjuna, destroy my people.
