Pancharatra-Ext: Shikandin was married to a princess, and she comes to know that actually Shikandin is a female and complains to Drupada.

cakāra yatnaṃ drupadaḥ sarvasminsvajane mahat। tato lekhyādiṣu tathā śilpeṣu ca paraṃ gatā ॥ iṣvastre caiva rājendra droṇaśiṣyo babhūva ha ॥5-190-1॥
[चकार (cakāra) - made; यत्नं (yatnaṃ) - effort; द्रुपदः (drupadaḥ) - Drupada; सर्वस्मिन्स्वजने (sarvasminsvajane) - in all his people; महत् (mahat) - great; ततो (tato) - then; लेख्यादिषु (lekhyādiṣu) - in writing and others; तथा (tathā) - also; शिल्पेषु (śilpeṣu) - in arts; च (ca) - and; परं (paraṃ) - supreme; गता (gatā) - went; इष्वस्त्रे (iṣvastre) - in archery; चैव (caiva) - and indeed; राजेन्द्र (rājendra) - O king; द्रोणशिष्यो (droṇaśiṣyo) - Drona's disciple; बभूव (babhūva) - became; ह (ha) - indeed;]
(Drupada made great effort in all his people. Then he went supreme in writing and others, and also in arts. And indeed, O king, he became Drona's disciple in archery.)

(His mother, O great king, the beautiful one, urged the king for the marriage of the daughter like a son then.)

ततस्तां पार्षतो दृष्ट्वा कन्यां सम्प्राप्तयौवनाम्। स्त्रियं मत्वा तदा चिन्तां प्रपेदे सह भार्यया ॥५-१९०-३॥

(Then, having seen her, Pārṣata, thinking of the girl who had reached youth as a woman, then entered into worry with his wife.)
Then Pārṣata, upon seeing the girl who had reached her youth, thought of her as a woman and, along with his wife, became worried.

कन्या ममेयं सम्प्राप्ता यौवनं शोकवर्धिनी। मया प्रच्छादिता चेयं वचनाच्छूलपाणिनः ॥५-१९०-४॥
kanyā mameyaṃ samprāptā yauvanaṃ śokavardhinī। mayā pracchāditā ceyaṃ vacanācchūlapāṇinaḥ ॥5-190-4॥
[कन्या (kanyā) - girl; मम (mama) - my; इयम् (iyam) - this; सम्प्राप्ता (samprāptā) - attained; यौवनम् (yauvanam) - youth; शोकवर्धिनी (śokavardhinī) - sorrow-increasing; मया (mayā) - by me; प्रच्छादिता (pracchāditā) - covered; च (ca) - and; इयम् (iyam) - this; वचनात् (vacanāt) - by the word; शूलपाणिनः (śūlapāṇinaḥ) - of Śūlapāṇi;]
(The girl, my this one, has attained youth, increasing sorrow. By me covered and this by the word of Śūlapāṇi.)
This girl of mine has reached her youth, which only increases sorrow. I have kept her hidden, as per the words of Śūlapāṇi.
न तन्मिथ्या महाराज्ञि भविष्यति कथञ्चन। त्रैलोक्यकर्ता कस्माद्धि तन्मृषा कर्तुमर्हति ॥५-१९०-५॥
na tanmithyā mahārājñi bhaviṣyati kathañcana। trailokyakartā kasmāddhi tanmṛṣā kartumarhati ॥5-190-5॥
[न (na) - not; तत् (tat) - that; मिथ्या (mithyā) - false; महाराज्ञि (mahārājñi) - O great queen; भविष्यति (bhaviṣyati) - will be; कथञ्चन (kathañcana) - in any way; त्रैलोक्यकर्ता (trailokyakartā) - the creator of the three worlds; कस्मात् (kasmāt) - why; हि (hi) - indeed; तत् (tat) - that; मृषा (mṛṣā) - false; कर्तुम् (kartum) - to do; अर्हति (arhati) - is able;]
(That will not be false, O great queen, in any way. Why indeed would the creator of the three worlds be able to do that falsely?)

यदि ते रोचते राजन्वक्ष्यामि शृणु मे वचः। श्रुत्वेदानीं प्रपद्येथाः स्वकार्यं पृषतात्मज ॥५-१९०-६॥
yadi te rocate rājanvakṣyāmi śṛṇu me vacaḥ। śrutvedānīṃ prapadyethāḥ svakāryaṃ pṛṣatātmaja ॥5-190-6॥
[यदि (yadi) - if; ते (te) - to you; रोचते (rocate) - pleases; राजन् (rājan) - O king; वक्ष्यामि (vakṣyāmi) - I will speak; शृणु (śṛṇu) - listen; मे (me) - my; वचः (vacaḥ) - words; श्रुत्वा (śrutvā) - having heard; इदानीं (idānīṃ) - now; प्रपद्येथाः (prapadyethāḥ) - you may proceed; स्वकार्यं (svakāryaṃ) - your task; पृषतात्मज (pṛṣatātmaja) - O son of Pṛṣata;]

क्रियतामस्य नृपते विधिवद्दारसङ्ग्रहः। सत्यं भवति तद्वाक्यमिति मे निश्चिता मतिः ॥५-१९०-७॥
kriyatāmasya nṛpate vidhivaddārasaṅgrahaḥ। satyaṃ bhavati tadvākyamiti me niścitā matiḥ ॥5-190-7॥
[क्रियताम् (kriyatām) - let it be done; अस्य (asya) - his; नृपते (nṛpate) - O king; विधिवत् (vidhivat) - according to the rules; दारसङ्ग्रहः (dārasaṅgrahaḥ) - marriage; सत्यं (satyaṃ) - true; भवति (bhavati) - becomes; तत् (tat) - that; वाक्यम् (vākyam) - statement; इति (iti) - thus; मे (me) - my; निश्चिता (niścitā) - determined; मतिः (matiḥ) - opinion;]
(Let his marriage be performed according to the rules, O king. That statement becomes true, thus is my determined opinion.)
"O king, let his marriage be conducted properly according to the rules. I am convinced that this statement will come true."

tatastau niścayaṃ kṛtvā tasminkārye'tha dampatī। varayāṃ cakratuḥ kanyāṃ daśārṇādhipateḥ sutām ॥5-190-8॥

(And he was a great king in the land of Dasharnas, the lord of the earth, Hiranyavarma, invincible, Mahasena, great-minded.)

कृते विवाहे तु तदा सा कन्या राजसत्तम। यौवनं समनुप्राप्ता सा च कन्या शिखण्डिनी ॥५-१९०-१२॥

(When the marriage was performed, then that girl, O best of kings, attained youth, and that girl was Śikhaṇḍinī.)

कृतदारः शिखण्डी तु काम्पिल्यं पुनरागमत्। न च सा वेद तां कन्यां कञ्चित्कालं स्त्रियं किल ॥५-१९०-१३॥
kṛtadāraḥ śikhaṇḍī tu kāmpilyaṃ punarāgamat। na ca sā veda tāṃ kanyāṃ kañcitkālaṃ striyaṃ kila ॥5-190-13॥

(Having married, Śikhaṇḍī came again to Kampilya. And she did not know that girl was indeed a woman for some time.)

दशार्णराजो राजंस्त्वामिदं वचनमब्रवीत्। अभिषङ्गात्प्रकुपितो विप्रलब्धस्त्वयानघ ॥५-१९०-२१॥
daśārṇarājo rājaṃstvāmidaṃ vacanamabravīt। abhiṣaṅgātprakupito vipralabdhastvayānagha ॥5-190-21॥
[दशार्णराजः (daśārṇarājaḥ) - the king of Dasharna; राजन् (rājan) - O king; त्वाम् (tvām) - you; इदम् (idam) - this; वचनम् (vacanam) - speech; अब्रवीत् (abravīt) - said; अभिषङ्गात् (abhiṣaṅgāt) - due to attachment; प्रकुपितः (prakupitaḥ) - angered; विप्रलब्धः (vipralabdhaḥ) - deceived; त्वया (tvayā) - by you; अनघ (anagha) - O sinless one;]
(The king of Dasharna, O king, said this speech to you: Angered due to attachment and deceived by you, O sinless one.)
The king of Dasharna addressed you, O king, with these words: "O sinless one, deceived and angered by attachment, by you."
अवमन्यसे मां नृपते नूनं दुर्मन्त्रितं तव। यन्मे कन्यां स्वकन्यार्थे मोहाद्याचितवानसि ॥५-१९०-२२॥
avamanyase māṃ nṛpate nūnaṃ durmantritaṃ tava। yanme kanyāṃ svakanyārthe mohādyācitavānasi ॥5-190-22॥
[अवमन्यसे (avamanyase) - you disrespect; मां (māṃ) - me; नृपते (nṛpate) - O king; नूनं (nūnaṃ) - indeed; दुर्मन्त्रितं (durmantritaṃ) - ill-advised; तव (tava) - your; यत् (yat) - that; मे (me) - my; कन्यां (kanyāṃ) - daughter; स्वकन्यार्थे (svakanyārthe) - for your own daughter; मोहात् (mohāt) - out of delusion; याचितवानसि (yācitavānasi) - you have asked;]
(You disrespect me, O king, indeed your ill-advised act is that you have asked for my daughter for your own daughter out of delusion.)
O king, you indeed disrespect me by your ill-advised decision to ask for my daughter for your own daughter, driven by delusion.
तस्याद्य विप्रलम्भस्य फलं प्राप्नुहि दुर्मते। एष त्वां सजनामात्यमुद्धरामि स्थिरो भव ॥५-१९०-२३॥
tasyādya vipralambhasya phalaṃ prāpnuhi durmate। eṣa tvāṃ sajanāmātyamuddharāmi sthiro bhava ॥5-190-23॥
[तस्य (tasya) - his; अद्य (adya) - today; विप्रलम्भस्य (vipralambhasya) - of deception; फलं (phalam) - fruit; प्राप्नुहि (prāpnuhi) - receive; दुर्मते (durmate) - wicked-minded; एष (eṣa) - this; त्वां (tvāṃ) - you; सजनामात्यम् (sajanāmātyam) - with ministers and friends; उद्धरामि (uddharāmi) - I will lift; स्थिरः (sthiraḥ) - steady; भव (bhava) - be;]
(Today, receive the fruit of deception, wicked-minded one. I will lift you with ministers and friends. Be steady.)
Today, you shall face the consequences of your deceit, wicked-minded one. I will elevate you along with your ministers and friends. Remain steadfast.
