Vaisesika Sūtra 9.1.10

nāsti ghaṭaḥ gehe iti sataḥ ghaṭasya geha-saṁsarga pratiṣedhaḥ ॥10॥

“The pot is not in the house” is the negation of the conjunction of the existent pot within the house.
