राज्ञा कल्माषपादेन गुरौ ब्रह्मविदां वरे। कारणं किं पुरस्कृत्य भार्या वै संनियोजिता ॥१-१७३-१॥
rājñā kalmāṣapādena gurau brahmavidāṃ vare। kāraṇaṃ kiṃ puraskṛtya bhāryā vai saṃniyojitā ॥1-173-1॥
[राज्ञा (rājñā) - by the king; कल्माषपादेन (kalmāṣapādena) - by Kalmashapada; गुरौ (gurau) - to the teacher; ब्रह्मविदां (brahmavidām) - of the knowers of Brahman; वरे (vare) - the best; कारणं (kāraṇam) - reason; किं (kiṃ) - what; पुरस्कृत्य (puraskṛtya) - having considered; भार्या (bhāryā) - wife; वै (vai) - indeed; संनियोजिता (saṃniyojitā) - was engaged;]
(By the king Kalmashapada, to the teacher, the best of the knowers of Brahman, what reason having considered, the wife indeed was engaged.)
For what reason did King Kalmashapada engage the wife with the teacher, the best among the knowers of Brahman?
जानता च परं धर्मं लोक्यं तेन महात्मना। अगम्यागमनं कस्माद्वसिष्ठेन महात्मना ॥ कृतं तेन पुरा सर्वं वक्तुमर्हसि पृच्छतः ॥१-१७३-२॥
jānatā ca paraṃ dharmaṃ lokyaṃ tena mahātmanā। agamyaāgamanaṃ kasmād vasiṣṭhena mahātmanā ॥ kṛtaṃ tena purā sarvaṃ vaktum arhasi pṛcchataḥ ॥1-173-2॥
[जानता (jānatā) - knowing; च (ca) - and; परं (paraṃ) - supreme; धर्मं (dharmaṃ) - dharma; लोक्यं (lokyaṃ) - to be observed; तेन (tena) - by him; महात्मना (mahātmanā) - by the great-souled one; अगम्यागमनं (agamyaāgamanaṃ) - approaching the unapproachable; कस्मात् (kasmāt) - why; वसिष्ठेन (vasiṣṭhena) - by Vasiṣṭha; महात्मना (mahātmanā) - by the great-souled one; कृतं (kṛtaṃ) - done; तेन (tena) - by him; पुरा (purā) - formerly; सर्वं (sarvaṃ) - all; वक्तुम् (vaktum) - to speak; अर्हसि (arhasi) - you ought; पृच्छतः (pṛcchataḥ) - to the one asking;]
(Knowing also the supreme dharma to be observed by him, by the great-souled one, why did Vasiṣṭha, the great-souled one, approach the unapproachable? All that was done by him formerly, you ought to speak to the one asking.)
Knowing the supreme dharma to be observed, why did the great-souled Vasiṣṭha approach the unapproachable? Please tell all that was done by him in the past to the one who asks.
गन्धर्व उवाच॥

The gandharva said:
धनञ्जय निबोधेदं यन्मां त्वं परिपृच्छसि। वसिष्ठं प्रति दुर्धर्षं तथामित्रसहं नृपम् ॥१-१७३-३॥
dhanañjaya nibodhedaṃ yan māṃ tvaṃ paripṛcchasi। vasiṣṭhaṃ prati durdharṣaṃ tathāmitrasahaṃ nṛpam ॥1-173-3॥
[धनञ्जय (dhanañjaya) - O Dhananjaya; (Arjuna); निबोध (nibodha) - know; understand; इदं (idaṃ) - this; यत् (yat) - which; माम् (mām) - me; त्वम् (tvam) - you; परिपृच्छसि (paripṛcchasi) - ask; inquire; वसिष्ठम् (vasiṣṭham) - Vasiṣṭha; प्रति (prati) - regarding; towards; दुर्धर्षम् (durdharṣam) - difficult to overcome; unconquerable; तथा (tathā) - also; likewise; अमित्रसहम् (amitrasaham) - enduring enemies; able to withstand foes; नृपम् (nṛpam) - king;]
(O Dhananjaya, know this which you ask me: regarding Vasiṣṭha, the king who is unconquerable and likewise able to withstand enemies.)
O Dhananjaya, understand what you ask me: about Vasiṣṭha, the king who is unconquerable and able to withstand his enemies.
कथितं ते मया पूर्वं यथा शप्तः स पार्थिवः। शक्तिना भरतश्रेष्ठ वासिष्ठेन महात्मना ॥१-१७३-४॥
kathitaṃ te mayā pūrvaṃ yathā śaptaḥ sa pārthivaḥ। śaktinā bharataśreṣṭha vāsiṣṭhena mahātmanā ॥1-173-4॥
[कथितं (kathitam) - declared; explained; ते (te) - to you; मया (mayā) - by me; पूर्वं (pūrvam) - before; previously; यथा (yathā) - as; in the manner; शप्तः (śaptaḥ) - cursed; सः (saḥ) - he; पार्थिवः (pārthivaḥ) - the king; शक्तिना (śaktinā) - by Śakti; भरतश्रेष्ठ (bharataśreṣṭha) - O best of the Bharatas; वासिष्ठेन (vāsiṣṭhena) - by the son of Vasiṣṭha; महात्मना (mahātmanā) - by the great-souled one;]
(Declared to you by me before, as the king was cursed by Śakti, O best of the Bharatas, by the son of Vasiṣṭha, by the great-souled one.)
O best of the Bharatas, I have already told you how that king was cursed by Śakti, the great-souled son of Vasiṣṭha.
स तु शापवशं प्राप्तः क्रोधपर्याकुलेक्षणः। निर्जगाम पुराद्राजा सहदारः परन्तपः ॥१-१७३-५॥
sa tu śāpavaśaṃ prāptaḥ krodhaparyākulekṣaṇaḥ। nirjagāma purādrājā sahadāraḥ parantapaḥ॥1-173-5॥
[स (sa) - he; तु (tu) - but; शापवशं (śāpavaśam) - under the influence of a curse; प्राप्तः (prāptaḥ) - having obtained; क्रोधपर्याकुलेक्षणः (krodha-paryākula-īkṣaṇaḥ) - with eyes agitated by anger; निर्जगाम (nirjagāma) - departed; पुरात् (purāt) - from the city; राजा (rājā) - the king; सहदारः (saha-dāraḥ) - with his wife; परन्तपः (parantapaḥ) - scorcher of foes;]
(He but under the influence of a curse having obtained, with eyes agitated by anger, departed from the city, the king, with his wife, scorcher of foes.)

अरण्यं निर्जनं गत्वा सदारः परिचक्रमे। नानामृगगणाकीर्णं नानासत्त्वसमाकुलम् ॥१-१७३-६॥
araṇyaṃ nirjanaṃ gatvā sadāraḥ paricakrame. nānā-mṛga-gaṇa-ākīrṇaṃ nānā-sattva-samākulam ॥1-173-6॥

(Having gone to the deserted forest, with his wife, he wandered. Filled with various groups of deer, crowded with various beings.)
He went to the deserted forest with his wife and wandered there, where it was filled with many kinds of deer and crowded with various creatures.
नानागुल्मलताच्छन्नं नानाद्रुमसमावृतम्। अरण्यं घोरसंनादं शापग्रस्तः परिभ्रमन् ॥१-१७३-७॥
nānā-gulma-latā-cchannaṃ nānā-druma-samāvṛtam। araṇyaṃ ghora-sannādaṃ śāpa-grastaḥ paribhraman ॥1-173-7॥
[नाना (nānā) - various; गुल्म (gulma) - bushes; लता (latā) - creepers; च्छन्नं (cchannaṃ) - covered; नाना (nānā) - various; द्रुम (druma) - trees; समावृतम् (samāvṛtam) - enveloped; अरण्यं (araṇyaṃ) - forest; घोर (ghora) - terrible; संनादं (sannādaṃ) - resounding; शाप (śāpa) - curse; ग्रस्तः (grastaḥ) - afflicted; परिभ्रमन् (paribhraman) - wandering;]
(Covered with various bushes and creepers, enveloped by various trees, a forest resounding terribly, afflicted by a curse, wandering.)

स कदाचित्क्षुधाविष्टो मृगयन्भक्षमात्मनः। ददर्श सुपरिक्लिष्टः कस्मिंश्चिद्वननिर्झरे ॥ ब्राह्मणीं ब्राह्मणं चैव मैथुनायोपसङ्गतौ ॥
sa kadācit-kṣudhāviṣṭo mṛgayan bhakṣam ātmanaḥ। dadarśa suparikliṣṭaḥ kasmiṃścid vana-nirjhare॥ brāhmaṇīṃ brāhmaṇaṃ caiva maithunāyopasaṅgatau॥
[स (sa) - he; कदाचित् (kadācit) - at some time; क्षुधा (kṣudhā) - by hunger; आविष्टः (āviṣṭaḥ) - overcome; मृगयन् (mṛgayan) - seeking; भक्षम् (bhakṣam) - food; आत्मनः (ātmanaḥ) - for himself; ददर्श (dadarśa) - he saw; सुपरिक्लिष्टः (suparikliṣṭaḥ) - greatly distressed; कस्मिंश्चित् (kasmiṃścit) - in some; वन (vana) - forest; निर्झरे (nirjhare) - at a waterfall; ब्राह्मणीम् (brāhmaṇīm) - the wife of a Brāhmaṇa; ब्राह्मणम् (brāhmaṇam) - a Brāhmaṇa; च (ca) - and; एव (eva) - indeed; मैथुनाय (maithunāya) - for union; उपसङ्गतौ (upasaṅgatau) - engaged together;]
(He, at some time, overcome by hunger, seeking food for himself, greatly distressed, saw at a certain forest waterfall a Brāhmaṇa and a Brāhmaṇa's wife indeed engaged together for union.)
Once, overcome by hunger and searching for food, he, greatly distressed, saw at a certain forest waterfall a Brāhmaṇa and his wife engaged in union.
तौ समीक्ष्य तु वित्रस्तावकृतार्थौ प्रधावितौ। तयोश्च द्रवतोर्विप्रं जगृहे नृपतिर्बलात् ॥१-१७३-९॥
tau samīkṣya tu vitrastāv akṛtārthau pradhāvitau। tayoś ca dravator vipraṃ jagṛhe nṛpatir balāt॥1-173-9॥
[तौ (tau) - those two; समीक्ष्य (samīkṣya) - having observed; तु (tu) - but; वित्रस्तौ (vitrastau) - frightened; अकृतार्थौ (akṛtārthau) - unsuccessful; प्रधावितौ (pradhāvitau) - ran away; तयोः (tayoḥ) - of those two; च (ca) - and; द्रवतोः (dravatoḥ) - while fleeing; विप्रं (vipram) - the Brāhmaṇa; जगृहे (jagṛhe) - seized; नृपतिः (nṛpatiḥ) - the king; बलात् (balāt) - by force;]
(Those two, having observed, but frightened and unsuccessful, ran away. Of those two, while fleeing, the king seized the Brāhmaṇa by force.)
But when the king saw that those two were frightened and unsuccessful and had run away, he forcibly seized the Brāhmaṇa while they were fleeing.
दृष्ट्वा गृहीतं भर्तारमथ ब्राह्मण्यभाषत। शृणु राजन्वचो मह्यं यत्त्वां वक्ष्यामि सुव्रत ॥१-१७३-१०॥
dṛṣṭvā gṛhītaṃ bhartāram atha brāhmaṇy abhāṣata। śṛṇu rājan vaco mahyaṃ yat tvāṃ vakṣyāmi suvrata ॥1-173-10॥
[दृष्ट्वा (dṛṣṭvā) - having seen; गृहीतं (gṛhītam) - seized; भर्तारम् (bhartāram) - husband; अथ (atha) - then; ब्राह्मणी (brāhmaṇī) - the wife of a Brāhmaṇa; अभाषत (abhāṣata) - spoke; शृणु (śṛṇu) - hear; राजन् (rājan) - O king; वचः (vacaḥ) - word; मह्यम् (mahyaṃ) - to me; यत् (yat) - which; त्वाम् (tvām) - to you; वक्ष्यामि (vakṣyāmi) - I shall say; सुव्रत (suvrata) - O virtuous one;]
(Having seen her husband seized, then the Brāhmaṇa's wife spoke. Hear, O king, the word which I shall say to you, O virtuous one.)
Seeing her husband seized, the Brāhmaṇa's wife then spoke: "Hear, O king, the words I shall say to you, O virtuous one."
आदित्यवंशप्रभवस्त्वं हि लोकपरिश्रुतः। अप्रमत्तः स्थितो धर्मे गुरुशुश्रूषणे रतः ॥१-१७३-११॥
ādityavaṃśaprabhavastvaṃ hi lokapariśrutaḥ। apramattaḥ sthito dharme guruśuśrūṣaṇe rataḥ ॥1-173-11॥
[आदित्यवंशप्रभवः (ādityavaṃśaprabhavaḥ) - descended from the lineage of Āditya; त्वं (tvaṃ) - you; हि (hi) - indeed; लोकपरिश्रुतः (lokapariśrutaḥ) - renowned in the world; अप्रमत्तः (apramattaḥ) - vigilant; स्थितः (sthitaḥ) - established; धर्मे (dharme) - in dharma; गुरुशुश्रूषणे (guruśuśrūṣaṇe) - in service to the teacher; रतः (rataḥ) - engaged;]
(You, indeed, descended from the lineage of Āditya, renowned in the world, vigilant, established in dharma, engaged in service to the teacher.)
You are indeed descended from the lineage of Āditya, renowned throughout the world, ever-vigilant, steadfast in righteousness, and devoted to serving your teacher.
शापं प्राप्तोऽसि दुर्धर्ष न पापं कर्तुमर्हसि। ऋतुकाले तु सम्प्राप्ते भर्त्रास्म्यद्य समागता ॥१-१७३-१२॥
śāpaṃ prāpto'si durdharṣa na pāpaṃ kartum arhasi। ṛtukāle tu samprāpte bhartrā'smy adya samāgatā ॥1-173-12॥
[शापम् (śāpam) - curse; प्राप्तः (prāptaḥ) - obtained; असि (asi) - you are; दुर्धर्ष (durdharṣa) - Durdharṣa (name); न (na) - not; पापम् (pāpam) - sin; कर्तुम् (kartum) - to do; अर्हसि (arhasi) - you ought; ऋतुकाले (ṛtukāle) - in the proper season; तु (tu) - but; सम्प्राप्ते (samprāpte) - having arrived; भर्त्रा (bhartrā) - by the husband; अस्मि (asmi) - I am; अद्य (adya) - today; समागता (samāgatā) - united;]
(You have obtained a curse, O Durdharṣa; you ought not to commit sin. But when the proper season has arrived, today I am united with my husband.)
O Durdharṣa, you are under a curse and must not commit any sin. However, now that the proper season has arrived, today I am united with my husband.
अकृतार्था ह्यहं भर्त्रा प्रसवार्थश्च मे महान्। प्रसीद नृपतिश्रेष्ठ भर्ता मेऽयं विसृज्यताम् ॥१-१७३-१३॥
akṛtārthā hyahaṃ bhartrā prasavārthaśca me mahān। prasīda nṛpatiśreṣṭha bhartā me'yaṃ visṛjyatām ॥1-173-13॥
[अकृतार्था (akṛtārthā) - not having accomplished the purpose; हि (hi) - indeed; अहम् (aham) - I; भर्त्रा (bhartrā) - by the husband; प्रसव-अर्थः (prasava-arthaḥ) - for the purpose of progeny; च (ca) - and; मे (me) - to me; महान् (mahān) - great; प्रसीद (prasīda) - be gracious; नृपति-श्रेष्ठ (nṛpati-śreṣṭha) - O best of kings; भर्ता (bhartā) - husband; मे (me) - my; अयम् (ayam) - this; विसृज्यताम् (visṛjyatām) - let be released;]
(Not having accomplished the purpose indeed I by the husband, and for the purpose of progeny to me is great. Be gracious, O best of kings, let my husband, this one, be released.)
I have not yet fulfilled my purpose with my husband, and the desire for progeny is great for me. Please, O best of kings, let my husband be released.
एवं विक्रोशमानायास्तस्याः स सुनृशंसकृत्। भर्तारं भक्षयामास व्याघ्रो मृगमिवेप्सितम् ॥१-१७३-१४॥
evaṃ vikrośamānāyās tasyāḥ sa sunṛśaṃsakṛt। bhartāraṃ bhakṣayāmāsa vyāghro mṛgam ivepsitam ॥1-173-14॥
[एवं (evaṃ) - thus; विक्रोशमानायाः (vikrośamānāyāḥ) - crying out loudly (of her); तस्याः (tasyāḥ) - of her; सः (sa) - he; सुनृशंसकृत् (sunṛśaṃsakṛt) - very cruel act; भर्तारम् (bhartāram) - husband; भक्षयामास (bhakṣayāmāsa) - devoured; व्याघ्रः (vyāghraḥ) - the tiger; मृगम् (mṛgam) - the animal; इव (iva) - like; इप्सितम् (ipsitam) - desired;]
(Thus, as she was crying out loudly, he, performing a very cruel act, the tiger devoured her husband like a desired animal.)
Thus, as she cried out, the tiger, in a most cruel act, devoured her husband as if he were its desired prey.
तस्याः क्रोधाभिभूताया यदश्रु न्यपतद्भुवि। सोऽग्निः समभवद्दीप्तस्तं च देशं व्यदीपयत् ॥१-१७३-१५॥
tasyāḥ krodhābhibhūtāyā yadaśru nyapatad bhuvi। so'gnis samabhavad dīptas taṃ ca deśaṃ vyadīpayat ॥1-173-15॥
[तस्याः (tasyāḥ) - of her; क्रोध-अभिभूतायाः (krodha-abhibhūtāyāḥ) - overcome by anger; यत् (yat) - which; अश्रु (aśru) - tear; न्यपतत् (nyapatat) - fell down; भुवि (bhuvi) - on the ground; सः (saḥ) - that; अग्निः (agniḥ) - fire; समभवत् (samabhavat) - arose; दीप्तः (dīptaḥ) - blazing; तम् (tam) - that; च (ca) - and; देशम् (deśam) - region; व्यदीपयत् (vyadīpayat) - illuminated;]
(Of her, overcome by anger, which tear fell on the ground, that fire arose blazing and illuminated that region.)
As she was overcome by anger, the tear that fell from her onto the ground became a blazing fire and illuminated that region.
ततः सा शोकसन्तप्ता भर्तृव्यसनदुःखिता। कल्माषपादं राजर्षिमशपद्ब्राह्मणी रुषा ॥१-१७३-१६॥
tataḥ sā śokasantaptā bhartṛvyasanaduḥkhitā। kalmāṣapādaṃ rājarṣimaśapadbrāhmaṇī ruṣā ॥1-173-16॥
[ततः (tataḥ) - then; सा (sā) - she; शोकसन्तप्ता (śokasantaptā) - afflicted by grief; भर्तृव्यसनदुःखिता (bhartṛvyasanaduḥkhitā) - distressed by husband's misfortune; कल्माषपादं (kalmāṣapādam) - Kalmashapada; राजर्षिम् (rājarṣim) - royal sage; अशपद् (aśapad) - cursed; ब्राह्मणी (brāhmaṇī) - the Brahmin lady; रुषा (ruṣā) - in anger;]
(Then she, afflicted by grief and distressed by her husband's misfortune, the Brahmin lady, in anger, cursed Kalmashapada, the royal sage.)
Then, overwhelmed by grief and her husband's misfortune, the Brahmin lady angrily cursed Kalmashapada, the royal sage.
यस्मान्ममाकृतार्थायास्त्वया क्षुद्र नृशंसवत्। प्रेक्षन्त्या भक्षितो मेऽद्य प्रभुर्भर्ता महायशाः ॥१-१७३-१७॥
yasmān-mamākṛtārthāyās tvayā kṣudra nṛśaṁsavat। prekṣantyā bhakṣito me'dya prabhur bhartā mahāyaśāḥ॥1-173-17॥
[यस्मात् (yasmāt) - because; मम (mama) - my; अकृतार्थायाः (akṛtārthāyāḥ) - of (one) whose purpose is unfulfilled; त्वया (tvayā) - by you; क्षुद्र (kṣudra) - mean; नृशंसवत् (nṛśaṁsavat) - cruelly; प्रेक्षन्त्या (prekṣantyā) - while watching; भक्षितः (bhakṣitaḥ) - eaten; मे (me) - my; अद्य (adya) - today; प्रभुः (prabhuḥ) - lord; भर्ता (bhartā) - husband; महायशाः (mahāyaśāḥ) - greatly renowned;]
(Because my purpose is unfulfilled, by you, mean and cruelly, while watching, my greatly renowned lord and husband has been eaten today.)
Because of you, O mean and cruel one, while I watched helplessly, my greatly renowned lord and husband has been devoured today, leaving my purpose unfulfilled.
तस्मात्त्वमपि दुर्बुद्धे मच्छापपरिविक्षतः। पत्नीमृतावनुप्राप्य सद्यस्त्यक्ष्यसि जीवितम् ॥१-१७३-१८॥
tasmāttvamapi durbuddhe macchāpaparivikṣataḥ। patnīṃṛtāvanuprāpya sadyastyakṣyasi jīvitam ॥1-173-18॥
[तस्मात् (tasmāt) - therefore; त्वम् (tvam) - you; अपि (api) - also; दुर्बुद्धे (durbuddhe) - O wicked-minded; मच्छाप (macchāpa) - by my curse; परिविक्षतः (parivikṣataḥ) - afflicted; पत्नीम् (patnīm) - wife; ऋताव् (ṛtāv) - in the season (of conception); अनुप्राप्य (anuprāpya) - having attained; सद्यः (sadyaḥ) - immediately; त्यक्ष्यसि (tyakṣyasi) - you will give up; जीवितम् (jīvitam) - life;]
(Therefore, you also, O wicked-minded, afflicted by my curse, having attained your wife in the season (of conception), will immediately give up your life.)
Therefore, O wicked-minded one, as you are afflicted by my curse, you too, upon uniting with your wife in her season, will instantly lose your life.
यस्य चर्षेर्वसिष्ठस्य त्वया पुत्रा विनाशिताः। तेन सङ्गम्य ते भार्या तनयं जनयिष्यति ॥ स ते वंशकरः पुत्रो भविष्यति नृपाधम ॥१-१७३-१९॥
yasya carṣer vasiṣṭhasya tvayā putrā vināśitāḥ। tena saṅgamya te bhāryā tanayaṃ janayiṣyati॥ sa te vaṃśakaraḥ putro bhaviṣyati nṛpādhama॥1-173-19॥
[यस्य (yasya) - of whom; चर्षेः (carṣeḥ) - of the sage; वसिष्ठस्य (vasiṣṭhasya) - of Vasiṣṭha; त्वया (tvayā) - by you; पुत्राः (putrāḥ) - sons; विनाशिताः (vināśitāḥ) - destroyed; तेन (tena) - by him; सङ्गम्य (saṅgamya) - having united; ते (te) - your; भार्या (bhāryā) - wife; तनयम् (tanayam) - son; जनयिष्यति (janayiṣyati) - will beget; सः (saḥ) - he; ते (te) - your; वंशकरः (vaṃśakaraḥ) - progeny-maker; पुत्रः (putraḥ) - son; भविष्यति (bhaviṣyati) - will be; नृपाधम (nṛpādhama) - O lowest of kings;]
(Of whom, of the sage Vasiṣṭha, by you the sons were destroyed. By him, having united, your wife will beget a son. He, your progeny-maker son, will be, O lowest of kings.)
The sons of the sage Vasiṣṭha, whom you destroyed, will be replaced: your wife, after uniting with him, will bear a son. That son will continue your lineage, O lowest of kings.
एवं शप्त्वा तु राजानं सा तमाङ्गिरसी शुभा। तस्यैव संनिधौ दीप्तं प्रविवेश हुताशनम् ॥१-१७३-२०॥

मुक्तशापश्च राजर्षिः कालेन महता ततः। ऋतुकालेऽभिपतितो मदयन्त्या निवारितः ॥१-१७३-२२॥

न हि सस्मार नृपतिस्तं शापं शापमोहितः। देव्याः सोऽथ वचः श्रुत्वा स तस्या नृपसत्तमः ॥ तं च शापमनुस्मृत्य पर्यतप्यद्भृशं तदा ॥१-१७३-२३॥

(Indeed, the king, deluded by the curse, did not remember that curse. Then, having heard the words of the queen, he, the best among kings, having remembered that curse, was exceedingly tormented at that time.)
The king, under the delusion of the curse, did not remember it. But when he heard the queen's words, the best of kings recalled the curse and was deeply tormented at that moment.
एतस्मात्कारणाद्राजा वसिष्ठं संन्ययोजयत्। स्वदारे भरतश्रेष्ठ शापदोषसमन्वितः ॥१-१७३-२४॥
etasmātkāraṇādrājā vasiṣṭhaṃ saṃnyayojayat। svadāre bharataśreṣṭha śāpadoṣasamanvitaḥ ॥1-173-24॥
