Mahabharata - Ādi Parva (महाभारत - आदि पर्व)
01.183
Pancharatra: Krishna and Balarama visit Pandavas.
Vaiśampāyana said.
All the sons of Pāṇḍu, having considered the words of their elder brother, then, with their minds fixed on that very meaning, those of immeasurable energy, acted accordingly there.
But the eminent hero of the Vṛṣṇis, together with the son of Rohiṇī, unafraid of the eminent Kurus, went to the workshop of Bhārgava, where those eminent men reside.
There, Kṛṣṇa together with Balarāma saw Yudhiṣṭhira, the enemyless one, surrounded by his companions and those seated nearby, all shining with brilliance.
Then Vasudeva approached Yudhiṣṭhira, the foremost among the upholders of dharma, and Kṛṣṇa, pressing the feet of King Yudhiṣṭhira (Ajāmīḍha), declared, "I am he."
In the same way, after him, Balarama was praised, and the delighted Kurus welcomed him. The paternal aunts and the foremost of the Yadus also embraced the feet of the chief of the Bharatas.
Ajātaśatru, the foremost of the Kurus, after informing Kṛṣṇa of their well-being, asked: "O Vāsudeva, how is it that all of us, though dwelling here in secret, have become known to you?"
Vāsudeva smiled and said to him: "O king, even if fire is concealed, it is always recognized. Who else among men could accomplish what the sons of Pāṇḍu have, surpassing such valour?"
By good fortune, you Pāṇḍavas, all conquerors of enemies, have been completely freed from that fire. By good fortune, the wicked son of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, together with his minister, would not have survived with his desires.
May auspiciousness, hidden in the cave, be with you; may you flourish like a kindled fire. Let no kings here discover you; let us go to the camp for now. He, granted leave by the Pāṇḍava and possessing imperishable glory, quickly departed together with Baladeva.
