अथासीनेषु सर्वेषु तेषु राजसु भारत। कोटिकाश्यवचः श्रुत्वा शैब्यं सौवीरकोऽब्रवीत् ॥०३-२५१-१॥
athāsīneṣu sarveṣu teṣu rājasu bhārata। koṭikāśyavacaḥ śrutvā śaibyaṃ sauvīrako'bravīt ॥03-251-1॥
[अथ (atha) - then; आसीनेषु (āsīneṣu) - while (the) seated; सर्वेषु (sarveṣu) - all; तेषु (teṣu) - those; राजसु (rājasu) - kings; भारत (bhārata) - O Bhārata; कोटिकाश्यवचः (koṭikāśyavacaḥ) - Koṭikāśya's words; श्रुत्वा (śrutvā) - having heard; शैब्यम् (śaibyam) - to Śaibya; सौवीरकः (sauvīrakaḥ) - the king of Sauvīra; अब्रवीत् (abravīt) - spoke;]
(Then, while all those kings were seated, O Bhārata, having heard Koṭikāśya's words, the king of Sauvīra spoke to Śaibya.)
Then, as all those kings were sitting there, O Bhārata, upon hearing Koṭikāśya's words, the king of Sauvīra addressed Śaibya. (03-251-1)
यदा वाचं व्याहरन्त्यामस्यां मे रमते मनः। सीमन्तिनीनां मुख्यायां विनिवृत्तः कथं भवान् ॥०३-२५१-२॥
yadā vācaṃ vyāharantyām asyāṃ me ramate manaḥ। sīmantinīnām mukhyāyām vinivṛttaḥ kathaṃ bhavān ॥03-251-2॥
[यदा (yadā) - when; वाचं (vācaṃ) - speech; व्याहरन्त्याम् (vyāharantyām) - speaking; अस्याम् (asyām) - in her; मे (me) - my; रमते (ramate) - finds delight; मनः (manaḥ) - mind; सीमन्तिनीनाम् (sīmantinīnām) - of married women; मुख्यायाम् (mukhyāyām) - in the foremost; विनिवृत्तः (vinivṛttaḥ) - withdrawn; कथम् (katham) - how; भवान् (bhavān) - you;]
(When speech she speaking in her my mind finds delight. Of married women in the foremost withdrawn how you.)
How is it that, although you have withdrawn from the chief among married women, my mind delights in her whenever she speaks? (03-251-2)
एतां दृष्ट्वा स्त्रियो मेऽन्या यथा शाखामृगस्त्रियः। प्रतिभान्ति महाबाहो सत्यमेतद्ब्रवीमि ते ॥०३-२५१-३॥
etāṁ dṛṣṭvā striyo me'nyā yathā śākhāmṛgastriyaḥ। pratibhānti mahābāho satyam etad bravīmi te ॥03-251-3॥
[एताम् (etām) - this one (her); दृष्ट्वा (dṛṣṭvā) - having seen; स्त्रियः (striyaḥ) - women; मे (me) - to me; अন্যा (anyā) - other; यथा (yathā) - just as; शाखामृगस्त्रियः (śākhāmṛga-striyaḥ) - the wives (females) of branch-grazing deer (forest animals); प्रतिभान्ति (pratibhānti) - appear; महाबाहो (mahābāho) - O mighty-armed one; सत्यं (satyam) - truly; एतत् (etat) - this; ब्रवीमि (bravīmi) - I say; ते (te) - to you;]
(Having seen this one, to me other women appear just as the wives of branch-grazing deer, O mighty-armed one; truly, this I say to you.)
O mighty-armed one, having seen her, all other women seem to me just like the wives of forest deer; truly, I tell you this. (03-251-3)
दर्शनादेव हि मनस्तया मेऽपहृतं भृशम्। तां समाचक्ष्व कल्याणीं यदि स्याच्छैब्य मानुषी ॥०३-२५१-४॥
darśanādeva hi manastayā me'pahṛtaṁ bhṛśam। tāṁ samācakṣva kalyāṇīṁ yadi syācchaibya mānuṣī ॥03-251-4॥
[दर्शनात् एव (darśanāt eva) - from seeing only; हि (hi) - indeed; मनः (manaḥ) - mind; तया (tayā) - by her; मे (me) - my; अपहृतं (apahṛtam) - carried away; भृशम् (bhṛśam) - intensely; तां (tāṁ) - her; समाचक्ष्व (samācakṣva) - tell (me) completely; कल्याणीं (kalyāṇīṁ) - auspicious (one); यदि (yadi) - if; स्यात् (syāt) - she might be; शैब्य (śaibya) - descendant of Śibi; मानुषी (mānuṣī) - human woman;]
(Indeed, from seeing only, my mind by her has been carried away intensely. That auspicious one, tell (me) if she might be the human woman of the Śaibya lineage.)
Truly, just by seeing her, my mind has been completely captivated by her. Please tell me if that auspicious woman is a human belonging to the Śaibya lineage. (03-251-4)
कोटिकाश्य उवाच॥

एषा वै द्रौपदी कृष्णा राजपुत्री यशस्विनी। पञ्चानां पाण्डुपुत्राणां महिषी संमता भृशम् ॥०३-२५१-५॥
eṣā vai draupadī kṛṣṇā rājaputrī yaśasvinī। pañcānāṃ pāṇḍuputrāṇāṃ mahiṣī saṃmatā bhṛśam॥03-251-5॥
[एषा (eṣā) - this (feminine); वै (vai) - indeed; truly; द्रौपदी (draupadī) - Draupadī (proper noun, daughter of Drupada); कृष्णा (kṛṣṇā) - Kṛṣṇā (proper noun, another name for Draupadī); राजपुत्री (rājaputrī) - princess; daughter of a king; यशस्विनी (yaśasvinī) - renowned; illustrious; पञ्चानां (pañcānāṃ) - of the five; पाण्डुपुत्राणां (pāṇḍuputrāṇāṃ) - of the sons of Paṇḍu; महिषी (mahiṣī) - queen; chief wife; सम्मता (saṃmatā) - honored; esteemed; approved; भृशम् (bhṛśam) - exceedingly; very much;]
(This indeed Draupadī Kṛṣṇā princess renowned of the five sons of Paṇḍu queen honored exceedingly.)
This indeed is Draupadī, called Kṛṣṇā, the renowned princess, exceedingly honored as the chief wife of the five sons of Paṇḍu. (03-251-5)
सर्वेषां चैव पार्थानां प्रिया बहुमता सती। तया समेत्य सौवीर सुवीरान्सुसुखी व्रज ॥०३-२५१-६॥
sarveṣāṃ caiva pārthānāṃ priyā bahumatā satī। tayā sametya sauvīra su-vīrān su-sukhī vraja ॥03-251-6॥
[सर्वेषां (sarveṣāṃ) - of all; च (ca) - and; एव (eva) - indeed; पार्थानां (pārthānāṃ) - of the sons of Pṛthā (sons of Kuntī); प्रिया (priyā) - dear; बहुमता (bahumatā) - highly regarded; सती (satī) - being; तया (tayā) - with her; समेत्य (sametya) - having met (joined); सौवीर (sauvīra) - of Sauvīra; सुवीरान् (su-vīrān) - good heroes; सुसुखी (su-sukhī) - very happy; व्रज (vraja) - go;]
(Of all and indeed of the sons of Pṛthā, dear, highly regarded being; with her, having met, to Sauvīra, the good heroes, very happy, go.)
She who is dear and highly regarded by all the sons of Pṛthā; go to Sauvīra with her, having joined the noble heroes, and be very happy. (03-251-6)

एवमुक्तः प्रत्युवाच पश्यामो द्रौपदीमिति। पतिः सौवीरसिन्धूनां दुष्टभावो जयद्रथः ॥०३-२५१-७॥
evam-uktaḥ pratyuvāca paśyāmo draupadīm iti। patiḥ sauvīrasindhūnāṃ duṣṭabhāvo jayadrathaḥ॥03-251-7॥

(Thus addressed, he replied: "Let us see Draupadī." The lord of the Sauvīras and Sindhus, of wicked disposition, Jayadratha.)
Thus spoken to, he replied, "Let us see Draupadī." Jayadratha, the wicked-natured lord of the Sauvīras and Sindhus. (03-251-7)
स प्रविश्याश्रमं शून्यं सिंहगोष्ठं वृको यथा। आत्मना सप्तमः कृष्णामिदं वचनमब्रवीत् ॥०३-२५१-८॥
sa praviśyāśramaṃ śūnyaṃ siṃhaghoṣṭhaṃ vṛko yathā. ātmanā saptamaḥ kṛṣṇām idaṃ vacanam abravīt ॥03-251-8॥
[स (sa) - he; प्रविश्य (praviśya) - having entered; आश्रमं (āśramam) - hermitage; शून्यं (śūnyam) - empty; सिंहगोष्ठं (siṃhaghoṣṭham) - lion's lair; वृकः (vṛkaḥ) - wolf; यथा (yathā) - as; आत्मना (ātmanā) - himself; सप्तमः (saptamaḥ) - the seventh (brother); कृष्णाम् (kṛṣṇām) - to Kṛṣṇā; इदं (idaṃ) - this; वचनम् (vacanam) - speech; अब्रवीत् (abravīt) - said;]
(He, having entered the hermitage empty like a wolf (enters) a lion's lair, himself the seventh, to Kṛṣṇā this speech said.)
He, like a wolf entering an empty lion's lair, entered the empty hermitage and, himself being the seventh brother, said this to Kṛṣṇā. (03-251-8)
कुशलं ते वरारोहे भर्तारस्तेऽप्यनामयाः। येषां कुशलकामासि तेऽपि कच्चिदनामयाः ॥०३-२५१-९॥
kuśalaṃ te varārohe bhartāras te'py anāmayāḥ। yeṣāṃ kuśalakāmāsi te'pi kaccid anāmayāḥ॥03-251-9॥
[कुशलं (kuśalam) - well-being; health; ते (te) - your; (to you; for you;) वरारोहे (varārohe) - O one of excellent thighs; (O beautiful-thighed lady;) भर्तारः (bhartāraḥ) - husbands; ते (te) - your; (of you;) अपि (api) - also; अनामयाः (anāmayāḥ) - free from illness; healthy; येषां (yeṣām) - of whom; कुशलकामासि (kuśalakāmā asi) - you are a well-wisher (you desire the welfare); ते (te) - they; अपि (api) - also; कच्चित् (kaccit) - perhaps; (possibly; hopefully;) अनामयाः (anāmayāḥ) - free from illness; healthy;]
(Well-being to you, O one of excellent thighs; are your husbands also free from illness? Of those whose welfare you desire, are they also perhaps healthy?)
Are you well, O beautiful-thighed lady? Are your husbands also healthy? And are those whose welfare you wish for, are they also well? (03-251-9)

कौरव्यः कुशली राजा कुन्तीपुत्रो युधिष्ठिरः। अहं च भ्रातरश्चास्य यांश्चान्यान्परिपृच्छसि ॥०३-२५१-१०॥
kauravyaḥ kuśalī rājā kuntīputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ। ahaṃ ca bhrātaraś cāsya yāṃś cānyān paripṛcchasi ॥03-251-10॥
[कौरव्यः (kauravyaḥ) - descendant of Kuru; (Kaurava); कुशली (kuśalī) - well; safe; राजा (rājā) - king; कुन्तीपुत्रः (kuntīputraḥ) - son of Kuntī; युधिष्ठिरः (yudhiṣṭhiraḥ) - Yudhiṣṭhira; अहं (ahaṃ) - I; च (ca) - and; भ्रातरः (bhrātaraḥ) - brothers; च (ca) - and; अस्य (asya) - his; यान् (yān) - whom; च (ca) - and; अन्यान् (anyān) - other; परिपृच्छसि (paripṛcchasi) - you inquire;]
(Descendant of Kuru, well, king, son of Kuntī, Yudhiṣṭhira; I and brothers and his whom and other (ones) you inquire.)
The Kuru descendant, the son of Kuntī, King Yudhiṣṭhira, is well; I and his brothers, and those others about whom you inquire, are well. (03-251-10)
पाद्यं प्रतिगृहाणेदमासनं च नृपात्मज। मृगान्पञ्चाशतं चैव प्रातराशं ददानि ते ॥०३-२५१-११॥
pādyaṃ pratigṛhāṇedam āsanaṃ ca nṛpātmaja। mṛgān pañcāśataṃ caiva prātarāśaṃ dadāni te ॥03-251-11॥
[पाद्यं (pādyaṃ) - water for washing feet; प्रतिगृहाण (pratigṛhāṇa) - accept; इदम् (idam) - this; आसनं (āsanam) - seat; च (ca) - and; नृपात्मज (nṛpātmaja) - O prince (son of a king); मृगान् (mṛgān) - deer; पञ्चाशतं (pañcāśatam) - fifty; च (ca) - and; एव (eva) - indeed; प्रातराशं (prātarāśam) - morning meal; ददानि (dadāni) - I give; ते (te) - to you;]
(Water for washing feet accept this seat and, O prince. Deer fifty and indeed morning meal I give to you.)
O prince, please accept water for washing feet and this seat; I shall give you fifty deer as your morning meal. (03-251-11)
ऐणेयान्पृषतान्न्यङ्कून्हरिणाञ्शरभाञ्शशान्। ऋश्यान्रुरूञ्शम्बरांश्च गवयांश्च मृगान्बहून् ॥०३-२५१-१२॥
aiṇeyān pṛṣatān nyaṅkūn hariṇān śarabhān śaśān। ṛśyān rurūn śambarān ca gavayān ca mṛgān bahūn ॥03-251-12॥
[ऐणेयान् (aiṇeyān) - antelope; पृषतान् (pṛṣatān) - spotted deer; न्यङ्कून् (nyaṅkūn) - hump-backed animals; हरिणान् (hariṇān) - deer; शरभान् (śarabhān) - wild bulls; शशान् (śaśān) - hares; ऋश्यान् (ṛśyān) - white-footed antelope; रुरून् (rurūn) - stag; शम्बरान् (śambarān) - sambar deer; च (ca) - and; गवयान् (gavayān) - wild oxen; च (ca) - and; मृगान् (mṛgān) - animals; बहून् (bahūn) - many;]
(antelope, spotted deer, hump-backed animals, deer, wild bulls, hares, white-footed antelope, stag, sambar deer and wild oxen and many animals.)
Antelopes, spotted deer, hump-backed animals, deer, wild bulls, hares, white-footed antelope, stags, sambar deer, wild oxen, and many other animals. (03-251-12)
वराहान्महिषांश्चैव याश्चान्या मृगजातयः। प्रदास्यति स्वयं तुभ्यं कुन्तीपुत्रो युधिष्ठिरः ॥०३-२५१-१३॥
varāhān mahiṣāṁś caiva yāś ca anyā mṛga-jātayaḥ। pradāsyati svayaṁ tubhyaṁ kuntī-putro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ॥03-251-13॥
[वराहान् (varāhān) - boars; महिषान् (mahiṣān) - buffaloes; च (ca) - and; एव (eva) - indeed; याः (yāḥ) - which; च (ca) - and; अन्याः (anyāḥ) - other; मृगजातयः (mṛga-jātayaḥ) - kinds of deer; प्रदास्यति (pradāsyati) - will give; स्वयम् (svayam) - himself; तुभ्यम् (tubhyam) - to you; कुन्तीपुत्रः (kuntī-putraḥ) - son of Kuntī; युधिष्ठिरः (yudhiṣṭhiraḥ) - Yudhiṣṭhira;]
(Boars, buffaloes, and also whatever other kinds of deer Yudhiṣṭhira, son of Kuntī, himself will give to you.)
Yudhiṣṭhira, the son of Kuntī, will himself give you boars, buffaloes, and any other kinds of deer. (03-251-13)
जयद्रथ उवाच॥

Jayadratha said.
कुशलं प्रातराशस्य सर्वा मेऽपचितिः कृता। एहि मे रथमारोह सुखमाप्नुहि केवलम् ॥०३-२५१-१४॥
kuśalaṃ prātarāśasya sarvā me'pacitiḥ kṛtā। ehi me rathamāroha sukham āpnuhi kevalam ॥03-251-14॥
[कुशलं (kuśalam) - welfare; प्रातराशस्य (prātarāśasya) - of the morning meal; सर्वा (sarvā) - all; मे (me) - my; अपचितिः (apacitiḥ) - respect; कृता (kṛtā) - has been done; इहि (ehi) - come; मे (me) - to me; रथम् (ratham) - chariot; आरोह (āroha) - mount; सुखम् (sukham) - comfort; आप्नुहि (āpnuhi) - attain; केवलम् (kevalam) - only;]
(Welfare of the morning meal, all my respect has been done. Come, mount my chariot, attain only comfort.)
All respect for the morning meal and your welfare has been rendered by me. Come, mount my chariot, and attain only comfort. (03-251-14)
गतश्रीकांश्च्युतान्राज्यात्कृपणान्गतचेतसः। अरण्यवासिनः पार्थान्नानुरोद्धुं त्वमर्हसि ॥०३-२५१-१५॥
gataśrīkāṃścyutān rājyāt kṛpaṇān gatacētasaḥ। araṇyavāsinaḥ pārthān nānuroddhuṃ tvam arhasi ॥03-251-15॥
[गतश्रीकान् (gataśrīkān) - those who have lost prosperity; च्युतान् (cyutān) - fallen; राज्यात् (rājyāt) - from the kingdom; कृपणान् (kṛpaṇān) - wretched; गतचेतसः (gatacētasaḥ) - whose minds have departed; अरण्यवासिनः (araṇyavāsinaḥ) - dwelling in the forest; पार्थान् (pārthān) - the sons of Pṛthā; न (na) - not; अनुरोद्धुम् (anuroddhum) - to restrain; त्वम् (tvam) - you; अर्हसि (arhasi) - ought;]
(Those who have lost prosperity, fallen from the kingdom, wretched, whose minds have departed, dwelling in the forest—the sons of Pṛthā—you ought not to restrain.)
You ought not to restrain the sons of Pṛthā, who have lost their prosperity, have been deprived of their kingdom, are wretched and dispirited, and are living in the forest. (03-251-15)
न वै प्राज्ञा गतश्रीकं भर्तारमुपयुञ्जते। युञ्जानमनुयुञ्जीत न श्रियः सङ्क्षये वसेत् ॥०३-२५१-१६॥
na vai prājñā gataśrīkaṃ bhartāram upayuñjate। yuñjānam anuyuñjīta na śriyaḥ saṅkṣaye vaset ॥03-251-16॥
[न (na) - not; वै (vai) - indeed; प्राज्ञा (prājñā) - wise woman; गतश्रीकं (gataśrīkam) - one bereft of fortune; भर्तारम् (bhartāram) - husband; उपयुञ्जते (upayuñjate) - chooses; युञ्जानम् (yuñjānam) - one who is prospering; अनुयुञ्जीत (anuyuñjīta) - should choose; न (na) - not; श्रियः (śriyaḥ) - wealth; सङ्क्षये (saṅkṣaye) - in decline; वसेत् (vaset) - should remain;]
(Not indeed wise woman one bereft of fortune husband chooses. One who is prospering she should choose; not in decline of wealth should remain.)
A wise woman does not choose a husband who has lost his fortune. She should choose one who is prospering; she should not remain where wealth is in decline. (03-251-16)
श्रिया विहीना राज्याच्च विनष्टाः शाश्वतीः समाः। अलं ते पाण्डुपुत्राणां भक्त्या क्लेशमुपासितुम् ॥०३-२५१-१७॥
śriyā vihīnā rājyāc ca vinaṣṭāḥ śāśvatīḥ samāḥ। alaṃ te pāṇḍu-putrāṇāṃ bhaktyā kleśam upāsitum ॥03-251-17॥
[श्रिया (śriyā) - by prosperity; विहीना (vihīnāḥ) - deprived; राज्यात् (rājyāt) - from kingdom; च (ca) - and; विनष्टाः (vinaṣṭāḥ) - ruined; शाश्वतीः (śāśvatīḥ) - for eternal; समाः (samāḥ) - years; अलं (alaṃ) - enough; ते (te) - your; पाण्डुपुत्राणाम् (pāṇḍu-putrāṇām) - of the sons of Paṇḍu; भक्त्या (bhaktyā) - with devotion; क्लेशम् (kleśam) - distress; उपासितुम् (upāsitum) - to endure;]
(By prosperity deprived and from kingdom ruined for eternal years; enough your of the sons of Paṇḍu with devotion distress to endure.)
Being deprived of prosperity and ruined of the kingdom for many long years; it is enough for your sons of Paṇḍu to endure hardship with devotion. (03-251-17)
भार्या मे भव सुश्रोणि त्यजैनान्सुखमाप्नुहि। अखिलान्सिन्धुसौवीरानवाप्नुहि मया सह ॥०३-२५१-१८॥
bhāryā me bhava suśroṇi tyajainān sukham āpnuhi. akhilān sindhu-sauvīrān avāpnuhi mayā saha ॥03-251-18॥
[भार्या (bhāryā) - wife; मे (me) - of me; भव (bhava) - become; सुश्रोणि (suśroṇi) - O beautiful-hipped one; त्यज (tyaja) - abandon; एनान् (enān) - these; सुखम् (sukham) - happiness; आप्नुहि (āpnuhi) - obtain; अखिलान् (akhilān) - all; सिन्धुसौवीरान् (sindhu-sauvīrān) - Sindhu-Sauvīra people; अवाप्नुहि (avāpnuhi) - acquire; मया (mayā) - by me; सह (saha) - with;]
(Wife of me become, O beautiful-hipped one, abandon these, happiness obtain. All Sindhu-Sauvīra people acquire with me.)
Become my wife, O beautiful-hipped one; abandon these and obtain happiness. Acquire all the Sindhu-Sauvīra people with me. (03-251-18)

इत्युक्ता सिन्धुराजेन वाक्यं हृदयकम्पनम्। कृष्णा तस्मादपाक्रामद्देशात्सभ्रुकुटीमुखी ॥०३-२५१-१९॥
ityuktā sindhurājena vākyaṁ hṛdayakampanam। kṛṣṇā tasmād apākrāmad deśāt sabhrukuṭīmukhī ॥03-251-19॥
[इति (iti) - thus; उक्ता (uktā) - having been spoken to; सिन्धुराजेन (sindhurājena) - by the king of Sindhu; वाक्यम् (vākyam) - words; हृदयकम्पनम् (hṛdayakampanam) - heart-trembling; कृष्णा (kṛṣṇā) - Kṛṣṇā; तस्मात् (tasmāt) - from that; अपाक्रामत् (apākrāmat) - departed; देशात् (deśāt) - from the place; स-भ्रुकुटी-मुखी (sa-bhrukuṭī-mukhī) - with frowning face;]
(Thus spoken to by the king of Sindhu, heart-trembling words, Kṛṣṇā from that (place) departed, from the place, with a frowning face.)
When thus addressed by the king of Sindhu with words that caused her heart to tremble, Kṛṣṇā departed from that place with a frowning face. (03-251-19)
अवमत्यास्य तद्वाक्यमाक्षिप्य च सुमध्यमा। मैवमित्यब्रवीत्कृष्णा लज्जस्वेति च सैन्धवम् ॥०३-२५१-२०॥
avamatyāsya tadvākyam ākṣipya ca sumadhyamā। maivam ity abravīt kṛṣṇā lajjasveti ca saindhavam ॥03-251-20॥
[अवमत्य (avamatya) - having disregarded; अस्य (asya) - his; तद्वाक्यम् (tadvākyam) - those words; आक्षिप्य (ākṣipya) - having censured; च (ca) - and; सुमध्यमा (sumadhyamā) - the slender-waisted (lady); मैवम् (maivam) - 'not so'; इति (iti) - thus; अब्रवीत् (abravīt) - said; कृष्णा (kṛṣṇā) - Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī); लज्जस्व (lajjasva) - "feel shame"; इति (iti) - thus; च (ca) - and; सैन्धवम् (saindhavam) - to Saindhava (Jayadratha);]
(Having disregarded his those words, and having censured, the slender-waisted (lady) Kṛṣṇā said "Not so," and also "Feel shame" to Saindhava.)
Having disregarded his words and censuring them, the slender-waisted Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī) said to Saindhava (Jayadratha), "Not so," and also, "Feel shame." (03-251-20)
सा काङ्क्षमाणा भर्तॄणामुपयानमनिन्दिता। विलोभयामास परं वाक्यैर्वाक्यानि युञ्जती ॥०३-२५१-२१॥
sā kāṅkṣamāṇā bhartr̥ṇām upayānam aninditā। vilobhayām āsa paraṃ vākyaiḥ vākyāni yuñjatī ॥03-251-21॥
[सा (sā) - she; काङ्क्षमाणा (kāṅkṣamāṇā) - desiring; भर्तॄणाम् (bhartr̥ṇām) - of the husbands; उपयानम् (upayānam) - approach; अनिन्दिता (aninditā) - blameless; विलोभयामास (vilobhayām āsa) - caused to be extremely attracted; परम् (param) - extremely; वाक्यैः (vākyaiḥ) - with words; वाक्यानि (vākyāni) - sentences; युञ्जती (yuñjatī) - uttering;]
(She, desiring the approach of the husbands, blameless, caused to be extremely attracted by uttering words with sentences.)
The blameless woman, yearning for the approach of her husbands, captivated them deeply by skilfully stringing together her words. (03-251-21)
