(Having seen the power slain, your son, O lord of the people, stopped Madhava with a great chariot army.)
Upon witnessing the destruction of the power, your son, the lord of the people, halted Madhava with a formidable chariot force.
तथा परिवृतं दृष्ट्वा वार्ष्णेयानां महारथम्। दुर्योधनो भृशं हृष्टो भ्रातॄन्सर्वानुवाच ह ॥६-१०७-१४॥
tathā parivṛtaṃ dṛṣṭvā vārṣṇeyānāṃ mahāratham। duryodhano bhṛśaṃ hṛṣṭo bhrātṝnsarvānuvāca ha ॥6-107-14॥

(Thus, having seen the great chariot of the descendants of Vṛṣṇi surrounded, Duryodhana, greatly pleased, indeed said to all his brothers.)

तथा कुरुत कौरव्या यथा वः सात्यको युधि। न जीवन्प्रतिनिर्याति महतोऽस्माद्रथव्रजात् ॥ अस्मिन्हते हतं मन्ये पाण्डवानां महद्बलम् ॥६-१०७-१५॥

(Thus, O Kauravas, do as Satyaki does in battle; he does not return alive from the great chariot group. In this slain, I think the great strength of the Pandavas is slain.)

तत्तथेति वचस्तस्य परिगृह्य महारथाः। शैनेयं योधयामासुर्भीष्मस्य प्रमुखे तदा ॥६-१०७-१६॥
tattatheti vacastasya parigṛhya mahārathāḥ। śaineyaṃ yodhayāmāsurbhīṣmasya pramukhe tadā ॥6-107-16॥

(That battle was very great between those two in prowess, in which Shikhandi, the tormentor of enemies, attacked Ganga's son.)
The battle was intense and grand between the two warriors, where Shikhandi, known for tormenting his enemies, charged at Bhishma, the son of Ganga.
विराटद्रुपदौ वृद्धौ वारयन्तौ महाचमूम्। भीष्मं च युधि संरब्धावाद्रवन्तौ महारथौ ॥६-१०७-२१॥

सा वध्यमाना समरे पुत्रस्य तव वाहिनी। लोड्यते रथिभिः श्रेष्ठैस्तत्र तत्रैव भारत ॥६-१०७-५५॥
sā vadhyamānā samare putrasya tava vāhinī। loḍyate rathibhiḥ śreṣṭhaistatra tatraiva bhārata ॥6-107-55॥
