Core and Pancharatra: The next day, the twelfth, Trigarta's invite Arjuna for a battle after taking the oath, so that Drona can capture Yudhisthira. Arjuan instils Satyajit to safeguard Yudhisthira and leaves.

te sene śibiraṃ gatvā nyaviśetāṃ viśāṃ pate। yathābhāgaṃ yathānyāyaṃ yathāgulmaṃ ca sarvaśaḥ ॥7-16-1॥

(Having withdrawn the armies, Droṇa, very dejected, looking at Duryodhana with shame, said this.)
After withdrawing the troops, the deeply disheartened Droṇa looked at Duryodhana with embarrassment and spoke.
उक्तमेतन्मया पूर्वं न तिष्ठति धनञ्जये। शक्यो ग्रहीतुं सङ्ग्रामे देवैरपि युधिष्ठिरः ॥७-१६-३॥
uktametanmayā pūrvaṃ na tiṣṭhati dhanañjaye। śakyo grahītuṃ saṅgrāme devairapi yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ॥7-16-3॥

(This was said by me before, it does not stand in Dhananjaya. Even the gods cannot seize Yudhishthira in battle.)

अपनीते तु योगेन केनचिच्छ्वेतवाहने। तत एष्यति ते राजन्वशमद्य युधिष्ठिरः ॥७-१६-५॥

kaścidāhvayatāṃ saṅkhye deśamanyaṃ prakarṣatu। tamajitvā tu kaunteyo na nivartetakathaṃcana ॥7-16-6॥

(Someone among those who challenge in battle should lead to another land. But the son of Kunti should not return without conquering in any way.)

(In this void interval, O king, I will seize Dharmaraja's army, having pierced it while Dhrishtadyumna watches.)
In this moment of emptiness, O king, I shall capture the army of Dharmaraja, breaking through it as Dhrishtadyumna watches.
अर्जुनेन विहीनस्तु यदि नोत्सृजते रणम्। मामुपायान्तमालोक्य गृहीतमिति विद्धि तम् ॥७-१६-८॥
arjunena vihīnastu yadi notsṛjate raṇam। māmupāyāntamālokya gṛhītamiti viddhi tam ॥7-16-8॥

(Deprived by Arjuna, if he does not abandon the battle, seeing me approaching, know him to be captured thus.)

एवं ते सहसा राजन्धर्मपुत्रं युधिष्ठिरम्। समानेष्यामि सगणं वशमद्य न संशयः ॥७-१६-९॥

यदि तिष्ठति सङ्ग्रामे मुहूर्तमपि पाण्डवः। अथापयाति सङ्ग्रामाद्विजयात्तद्विशिष्यते ॥७-१६-१०॥
yadi tiṣṭhati saṅgrāme muhūrtamapi pāṇḍavaḥ। athāpayāti saṅgrāmādvijayāttadviśiṣyate ॥7-16-10॥

ते वयं स्मरमाणास्तान्विनिकारान्पृथग्विधान्। क्रोधाग्निना दह्यमाना न शेमहि सदा निशाः ॥७-१६-१३॥
te vayaṁ smaramāṇāstānvivikārānpṛthagvidhān। krodhāgninā dahyamānā na śemahi sadā niśāḥ ॥7-16-13॥

(They, we remembering those various different kinds, being burned by the fire of anger, are not able to sleep always during the nights.)

[स (sa) - he; नः (naḥ) - our; दिव्य (divya) - divine; अस्त्र (astra) - weapon; सम्पन्नः (sampannaḥ) - endowed; च (ca) - and; चक्षुः (cakṣuḥ) - sight; विषयम् (viṣayam) - range; आगतः (āgataḥ) - arrived; कर्तारः (kartāraḥ) - doers; स्म (sma) - indeed; वयम् (vayam) - we; सर्वम् (sarvam) - all; यत् (yat) - what; चिकीर्षाम (cikīrṣāma) - wish to do; हृद्गतम् (hṛdgatam) - in the heart;]
(He, endowed with divine weapons, has arrived within our sight range. We are indeed the doers of all that we wish to do, which is in the heart.)
