Sanjaya said.
A very fierce battle ensued between your forces and the enemies, with Saindhava blocking the eager-for-victory Pandavas.
Arjuna, known for his truthfulness and formidable nature, entered the army and caused a great disturbance, much like a powerful crocodile stirs the ocean.
The chiefs, with a shower of arrows, agitated him, the subduer of enemies, as the best of the Kurus approached Abhimanyu.
A terrible collision occurred between them and him, as they intensely discharged showers of arrows with immeasurable energy.
Arjuna's son was blocked by the group of enemy chariots. Then, after killing Vṛṣasena's charioteer, he cut off the bow.
His powerful arrows struck the horses directly. Then, he was carried away from the battlefield by those swift horses.
Meanwhile, Abhimanyu's charioteer drove the chariot away, and the delighted warriors in the chariots exclaimed, "Well done, well done!"
Vasatiya, like an enraged lion, swiftly attacked the enemies with arrows as he approached from afar.
He attacked Abhimanyu with sixty golden-feathered arrows and declared, "You will not escape alive while I am still living in this battle."
The son of Subhadra swiftly shot an arrow that pierced the proud armored warrior in the heart, causing him to fall lifeless to the ground.
Upon witnessing the death of Vasatyam, the enraged warriors, considered the best among the Kshatriyas, surrounded your grandson with the intent to kill, O king.
The battle became fierce as numerous bows of various forms were stretched by Saubhadra and his enemies.
In his anger, Arjuna cut off their arrows, bodies with bows, heads adorned with earrings and garlands.
The severed arms, adorned with golden ornaments, were seen with swords, finger-guards, spears, and axes.
The scene was adorned with garlands, ornaments, and clothes, amidst fallen great banners, armors, shields, necklaces, crowns, umbrellas, and fans.
The chariots were in disarray, with broken parts, bases, axles, poles, and shattered wheels and yokes in many ways.
The earth was covered with traces, flags, charioteers, horses, broken chariots, and slain elephants.
The earth became dreadful, covered with slain warriors, heroes, and various rulers of countries, all eager for victory.
As Abhimanyu wandered in all directions and quarters, his form disappeared in the battle due to his anger.
We only saw whatever gold, armor, ornaments, bow, and arrows he had.
Then, no one could see him with their eyes as he stood among the warriors, taking arrows, like the sun in the midst.
