Sanjaya said:
But when the heroic son of Subhadra, the charioteer, was slain, all abandoned their chariots and laid down their bows.
The group sat around King Yudhishthira, enveloping him, their thoughts consumed by the sorrow of Abhimanyu's demise.
Then King Yudhishthira, overwhelmed with sorrow, lamented the death of the valiant Abhimanyu, his brother's son and a great charioteer.
In his desire to please me, he pierced through Drona's unobstructed army formation and entered, like a lion into the midst of cows.

I acted unpleasantly towards Subhadra, Keshava, and Arjuna, driven by my desire for affection and victory.
A greedy person, blinded by delusion, fails to recognize faults. In his desire for honey, he does not see the precipice before him.
