(Seeing Arjuna attached towards Kritavarma's chariot, Krishna thought, "There should not be any delay for us.")

तावविध्यत्ततो भोजः सर्वपारशवैः शरैः। त्रिभिरेव युधामन्युं चतुर्भिश्चोत्तमौजसम् ॥७-६७-२९॥

(But those two bulls among men, striving among the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra in the armies, did not obtain the gate, being stopped by Kṛtavarma.)
However, those two great warriors, while trying to enter the armies of the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, were stopped by Kṛtavarma and could not reach the gate.
अनीकान्यर्दयन्युद्धे त्वरितः श्वेतवाहनः। नावधीत्कृतवर्माणं प्राप्तमप्यरिसूदनः ॥७-६७-३४॥

(Arjuna, the swift one, destroying armies in battle, did not kill Kritavarma, even though he had arrived, O destroyer of enemies.)
