Pancharatra and Core: As the sun was setting, Pāṇḍava swiftly proceeded towards Saindhava with his joyful horses that had been refreshed with water.

Upon witnessing the unprecedented event, a mighty lion's roar echoed throughout the assemblies of Siddhas, Caranas, and soldiers.
पदातिनं तु कौन्तेयं युध्यमानं नरर्षभाः। नाशक्नुवन्वारयितुं तदद्भुतमिवाभवत् ॥७-७५-४॥
padātinaṃ tu kaunteyaṃ yudhyamānaṃ nararṣabhāḥ। nāśaknuvanvārayituṃ tadadbhutamivābhavat ॥7-75-4॥

(But the bulls among men were not able to stop the son of Kunti, who was fighting on foot; it was as if a wonder.)
The warriors, renowned as the best among men, could not halt the advancing son of Kunti, who fought valiantly on foot; it seemed like a marvel.
आपतत्सु रथौघेषु प्रभूतगजवाजिषु। नासम्भ्रमत्तदा पार्थस्तदस्य पुरुषानति ॥७-७५-५॥
āpatatsu rathaugheṣu prabhūtagajavājiṣu। nāsambhramattadā pārthastadasya puruṣānati ॥7-75-5॥
[आपतत्सु (āpatatsu) - when attacking; रथौघेषु (rathaugheṣu) - in the multitude of chariots; प्रभूतगजवाजिषु (prabhūtagajavājiṣu) - in the numerous elephants and horses; न (na) - not; असम्भ्रमत् (asambhramat) - was confused; तदा (tadā) - then; पार्थः (pārthaḥ) - Arjuna; तत् (tat) - that; अस्य (asya) - his; पुरुषानति (puruṣānati) - manliness;]
(When attacking in the multitude of chariots and in the numerous elephants and horses, Arjuna was not confused then; that is his manliness.)
During the attack amidst the multitude of chariots, elephants, and horses, Arjuna remained composed; this demonstrated his true manliness.
व्यसृजन्त शरौघांस्ते पाण्डवं प्रति पार्थिवाः। न चाव्यथत धर्मात्मा वासविः परवीरहा ॥७-७५-६॥
vyasṛjanta śaraughāṃste pāṇḍavaṃ prati pārthivāḥ। na cāvyathata dharmātmā vāsaviḥ paravīrahā ॥7-75-6॥

(The kings released showers of arrows towards Pāṇḍava. The righteous soul, son of Vāsava, destroyer of enemy heroes, was not disturbed.)
The kings launched a barrage of arrows at the Pāṇḍava, but the righteous Arjuna, son of Indra and destroyer of enemy heroes, remained unshaken.
स तानि शरजालानि गदाः प्रासांश्च वीर्यवान्। आगतानग्रसत्पार्थः सरितः सागरो यथा ॥७-७५-७॥
sa tāni śarajālāni gadāḥ prāsāṃśca vīryavān। āgatānagrasatpārthaḥ saritaḥ sāgaro yathā ॥7-75-7॥

(He, the mighty one, devoured those arrow-nets, maces, and javelins that had arrived, just as the ocean swallows rivers.)
Arjuna, the mighty warrior, absorbed the incoming barrage of arrows, maces, and javelins, just as the ocean absorbs rivers.
अस्त्रवेगेन महता पार्थो बाहुबलेन च। सर्वेषां पार्थिवेन्द्राणामग्रसत्ताञ्शरोत्तमान् ॥७-७५-८॥
astravegena mahatā pārtho bāhubalena ca। sarveṣāṃ pārthivendrāṇāmagrasattāñśarottamān ॥7-75-8॥

तत्तु पार्थस्य विक्रान्तं वासुदेवस्य चोभयोः। अपूजयन्महाराज कौरवाः परमाद्भुतम् ॥७-७५-९॥

किमद्भुततरं लोके भविताप्यथ वाप्यभूत्। यदश्वान्पार्थगोविन्दौ मोचयामासतू रणे ॥७-७५-१०॥

भयं विपुलमस्मासु तावधत्तां नरोत्तमौ। तेजो विदधतुश्चोग्रं विस्रब्धौ रणमूर्धनि ॥७-७५-११॥

अथोत्स्मयन्हृषीकेशः स्त्रीमध्य इव भारत। अर्जुनेन कृते सङ्ख्ये शरगर्भगृहे तदा ॥७-७५-१२॥

स ताँल्लब्धोदकान्स्नाताञ्जग्धान्नान्विगतक्लमान्। योजयामास संहृष्टः पुनरेव रथोत्तमे ॥७-७५-१६॥

स तं रथवरं शौरिः सर्वशस्त्रभृतां वरः। समास्थाय महातेजाः सार्जुनः प्रययौ द्रुतम् ॥७-७५-१७॥
sa taṃ rathavaraṃ śauriḥ sarvaśastrabhṛtāṃ varaḥ। samāsthāya mahātejāḥ sārjunaḥ prayayau drutam ॥7-75-17॥

विनिःश्वसन्तस्ते राजन्भग्नदंष्ट्रा इवोरगाः। धिगहो धिग्गतः पार्थः कृष्णश्चेत्यब्रुवन्पृथक् ॥७-७५-१९॥
viniḥśvasantaste rājanbhagnadaṃṣṭrā ivoragāḥ। dhigaho dhiggataḥ pārthaḥ kṛṣṇaścetyabruvanpṛthak ॥7-75-19॥

(Sighing, they, O king, like broken-fanged serpents, said separately, "Alas, oh, alas, Arjuna and Krishna are gone.")

(All the warriors, while watching, were pierced by one chariot, like being ridiculed by a child's toy, our strength.)
All the warriors watched helplessly as one chariot pierced through them, making our strength seem like a child's toy.
क्रोशतां यतमानानामसंसक्तौ परन्तपौ। दर्शयित्वात्मनो वीर्यं प्रयातौ सर्वराजसु ॥७-७५-२१॥
krośatāṃ yatamānānām asaṃsaktau parantapau। darśayitvātmanaḥ vīryaṃ prayātau sarvarājasu ॥7-75-21॥
[क्रोशतां (krośatām) - of those who are crying; यतमानानाम् (yatamānānām) - of those who are striving; असंसक्तौ (asaṃsaktau) - unattached; परन्तपौ (parantapau) - O scorcher of foes; दर्शयित्वा (darśayitvā) - having shown; आत्मनः (ātmanaḥ) - of self; वीर्यं (vīryaṃ) - valor; प्रयातौ (prayātau) - departed; सर्वराजसु (sarvarājasu) - among all kings;]
(Of those who are crying and striving, unattached O scorcher of foes, having shown self's valor, departed among all kings.)
O scorcher of foes, among those who are crying and striving, you remain unattached. Having demonstrated your valor, you departed among all the kings.
तौ प्रयातौ पुनर्दृष्ट्वा तदान्ये सैनिकाब्रुवन्। त्वरध्वं कुरवः सर्वे वधे कृष्णकिरीटिनोः ॥७-७५-२२॥
tau prayātau punardṛṣṭvā tadānye sainikābruvan। tvaradhvaṃ kuravaḥ sarve vadhe kṛṣṇakirīṭinoḥ ॥7-75-22॥
