026. Kṛṣṇa consoled Gāndhārī, who had fallen to the ground in grief. By Yudhiṣṭhira's command, Vidura, Sañjaya, and others performed the cremation rites for the dead.

At the start of the water-offering, Kunti revealed to Yudhishthira that Karna was her own son and urged him to offer water.
