naivaṅgate saumakiradya rājā; santāpamarhatyasukhāya kartum। kāmaśca yo'sau drupadasya rājñaḥ; sa cāpi sampatsyati pārthivasya ॥1-185-25॥

aprāpyarūpāṃ hi narendrakanyā; mimāmahaṃ brāhmaṇa sādhu manye। na taddhanurmandabalena śakyaṃ; maurvyā samāyojayituṃ tathā hi ॥ na cākṛtāstreṇa na hīnajena; lakṣyaṃ tathā pātayituṃ hi śakyam ॥1-185-26॥
[अप्राप्यरूपां (aprāpyarūpām) - unattainable-form; हि (hi) - indeed; नरेन्द्रकन्या (narendrakanyā) - king's daughter; मिमाम् (mimām) - this; अहम् (aham) - I; ब्राह्मण (brāhmaṇa) - Brāhmaṇa; साधु (sādhu) - good; मन्ये (manye) - I think; न (na) - not; तद्धनुः (taddhanuḥ) - that bow; मन्दबलेन (mandabalena) - by weak strength; शक्यं (śakyam) - possible; मौर्व्या (maurvyā) - by the bowstring; समायोजयितुं (samāyojayitum) - to join; तथा (tathā) - thus; हि (hi) - indeed; न (na) - not; च (ca) - and; अकृतास्त्रेण (akṛtāstreṇa) - by one unskilled in weapons; न (na) - not; हि (hi) - indeed; हीनजेन (hīnajena) - by one of inferior birth; लक्ष्यं (lakṣyam) - target; तथा (tathā) - thus; पातयितुं (pātayitum) - to bring down; हि (hi) - indeed; शक्यम् (śakyam) - possible;]
(The king's daughter is indeed of unattainable form; O Brāhmaṇa, I think this is good. That bow is not possible to be joined with the bowstring by one of weak strength, thus indeed. Nor is it possible for the target to be brought down thus by one unskilled in weapons or by one of inferior birth, indeed.)
The king's daughter is truly unattainable; O Brāhmaṇa, I think this is right. That bow cannot be strung by one of weak strength, nor can the target be brought down by one unskilled in weapons or of inferior birth.

(Therefore, the king of the Pāñcālas does not deserve to cause affliction to the daughter today on account of this; nor is it bearable here on earth for a man to do that casting down otherwise.)
Therefore, the king of the Pāñcālas should not cause his daughter suffering today for this reason; nor is it right for any man on earth to inflict such a downfall in any other way.

(Thus, while Yudhiṣṭhira was indeed speaking, but from the proximity of the king of the Pāñcālas, another (man). There, quickly arrived a second man, intending to announce here (that) prepared food (is ready).)
As Yudhiṣṭhira was thus speaking, another man came quickly from near the king of the Pāñcālas. There, a second man arrived, intending to announce that the prepared food was ready here.
